you make sense and the 1990 finals mvp was superstar isiah thomas and i don't know why it was joe dumars in 1989 and no disrespect to the pistons who you PROBABLY know in the 1988 and 1989 finals faced the lakers but in the 1988 playoffs the elite years had finally and officially ended for legend kareem abdul-jabbar

Watching highlights reminds me of several things: -Look at how low the score is at some points! The three point shot wasn’t as emphasized then as it is now. -90’s pro basketball was some of the most physical play. Guys are getting hammered left and right and in some instances the refs let them have it. -More emphasis on ball movement. Far less reliance on isolation. -Coaches wore suits on the sidelines. I miss those days. And of course, rivalries meant something. You can see the hate both teams had for each other and how bad each team wanted to win.

Even if we would've won this series, Houston would've given The Bulls some major problems in the Finals in 94". They had an incredible season that year. However, this was the season that Scottie Pippen became a true team leader. He almost singlehandedly willed his team to the Finals. Great Memories!!💯💯💯

People act like only the 94 Bulls did well without their star player The Celtic lost Reggie Lewis, Nets lost Drazen, and Price, Nance, and Daughtery suffered career ending injuries. All three teams could've come out of the East in 94 even with MJ as a Bull. Without MJ each of those teams are beating the bulls in a 7 game series. Remember 94 Bulls played the Cavs in the 1st round without Nance, Daughtery and Hot Rod Williams. Price was injured in the series

@InfraaVerdaggens
@InfraaVerdaggens 7 жыл бұрын
Marv Albert: "Once again, the Knicks turning it on in the 4th quarter... Although this has been a tight game... It was not a come-from-behind situation..." This is what happened in the first 3 games of these series: The Bulls led by 20 all game long, and when the 4th qtr would start, the Knicks applied Pat Riley's inspiration: "Dogg Defense": Extreme intense defense so that the Bulls would remain scoreless, and cold-blooded, lightning-speed offense... They won Game 1, they won Game 2, and they tied the game in Game 3 at 1.8 before the buzzer. And because Anthony Mason would always shut down Pippen (and every Bull) down the stretch, forcing him to consecutive airballs, Phil Jackson decided to give the final shot to Kukoc. And because of that, Pippen refused to play like a bitch he has always been, and sat at the bench... Kukoc nailed it and all the Bulls, albeit happy, would be jealous of Kukoc and didn't celebrate with him, but on their own... Only one Bull, and kudos to him, was not jealous of Kukoc and went there and embraced him, celebrating with him: SCOT WILLIAMS!!!

Pippen in that 94 series showed he had some backbone..I will say this, Pippen was lucky that Kukoc made that shot because if he didnt everyone in Chicago would been ready to hang Pippen..Now think about, Pippen with Jordan at that time won 3 consecutive rings.Its amazing how if that play went different, the franchise might of traded Pippen before 1995..hmmm..then Knicks would of been 3 and 1 going back to New York for a Game 5. That "phantom call" is such as myth. Pippin clearly hit Davis on the follow thru. Anyone who's ever played ball knows that even if u hit on the follow thru its still a foul. NOT TO MENTION the bulls were already in the penalty. Dumb play by pippin but Davis still had to hit two clutch free throws which he did. Truth is, is kukoc doesn't bail the bulls out in game 3 (while pippin whined on the bench) the knicks would've won in 5 games. And the only reason why game 5 was as close as it was if u remember Derek harper got suspended for a stupid fight with jojo white.
