When you took it for a test run and I heard that laugh I knew it was a mod that was putting a smile on your face. You were having way too much fun for it not to have worked and to have worked well. Brilliant, well done.

I put this on my v star 650. Made a huge difference! I upgraded the coils a month later and it has never had this much power and smoothness! Great looking bike! Progressive rate spring in the rear makes a huge difference as well!

Dyna says factory coils are sufficient. I run a 1700, your sayi g you seen a boost in power from the coil tho?
@macg.59913 жыл бұрын
@@christopherkimmer8240 it ran great with the factory coils and module upgrade. Definitely wasn't a huge power increases from just the coils but seems to respond quicker and less backfireing on deceleration with the upgrade. My factory coils could have been going bad as well. I wasn't clear in my wording but I meant it had more power with everything done then from stock. Would definitely do it again though

Stupid question for you, your bike? I noticed that most Yamaha's have a top speed of 65 miles per hour. Mine kind of tapped out at 80 and started slowing back down. Do you think this part will actually in crease the speed of it or no?
@iRidetas7 ай бұрын
Top speed, no chance, its limmited by shaft drive gearing, torque and hp. Fun factor and throttle responce etc. Absolutely yes!

Sounds like an aprilia sxv 550 motard whipping round them back roads now 😂 a bike I'm very tempted to get , got a few bikes on my list to get when this is over , haven't ridden in nearly a year now with our lockdowns , got in trouble for taking my boat out that once in the summer. If China and Russia don't invade us in the next year and the Rona goes away I'm looking to get off this godforsaken island asap . Not sure how yet in terms of bugout vehicle whether I'm going the bike, boat, truck or car and trailer route ...these are uncertain times here in the UK .we just got brexit and a day later the French block the tunnel to prevent food getting to us and sent out huge super trawlers to destroy our fishing grounds, videos of them needlessly killing the dolphins and tuna and discarding them overboard then social media covering it up. So I think the big takeover is now in motion ..but I'm just a crazy conspiracy theorist ...and can't make up my mind on doomsday bike.. that's why I got the Honda xr and the Enfield..but naar ..something new and fun 😂 maybe a new T7 or the older 660 tennerlady (tenere ,but in England tennerlady is a brand of female hygiene product's and the bikes got nicknamed after them) but who knows what bike I want one of everything haha. hope you had a good crimbo if you do all that mate and a happy New year.
