My late grandmother in the late 1960's lamented the passing of the BBC Light Programme. Radio would never be as good. In the early 1970's there was shock that ex radio one DJs Terry Wogan and Jimmy Young were moved to Radio two. So it has been ever since, ex Radio One DJs get moved to Radio Two, the audience feels let down as these new ones don't have the personality of the old favourites. Then when the new presenters age and leave, sadness because they had become legends and their replacements have no personality. It is the same cycle, always will be. The truth: As we get older we find change harder.

Six years is a long long time, fair play to her, the bonds she would have connected and created would be like a family. The stress is high in radio production and she with the production team would be working very closely each day, for an average of 1200 days, that's a close knit unit. Fair play Zoe, fair play to you.

I’m gonna miss Zoe. Not sure about Scott Mills. I hope he gives better content than reading Fearne Cottons penpal letters or playing repeats of parts of shows from the previous day.

I occasionally listen to Sarah Cox and still the best show on radio, Tony Blackburn’s Golden Hour. Since they moved poor Steve from the afternoon it’s been downhill. Full of bland and impersonal presenters. IMO

R2 lost the plot , and listeners, years ago when they got rid of all the proper presenters. The current bunch are totally bereft of any personality.
