By not turning up to the debate, MP's think they can claim plausible deniability. That would normally work for a few.....but when all the benches are empty, you know they know the truth of what Bridgen is discussing.

Can I suggest keeping a running total of how much you've saved? If you've got an calendar, put a yearly anniversary in, keep a running total. Every year, add on the current cost of the license fee to the total. It will really make you feel good, and that you've achieved something.

The chamber was nearly empty because the government scheduled this debate for a Friday, by which time most MPs have left Westminster to go back to their constituencies. Mr. Bridgen uses official government statistics which suggest, quite strongly, that the medical intervention, heavily supported by politicians of all parties and the mainstream media, was not quite as safe and effective as the claims they made for it. The BBC, of course, were one of the main cheerleaders for the medical intervention and it is no surprise that they would have tried to counter Mr. Bridgen's claims, even whilst he was making them, with their use of completely inappropriate captions. Another reason for their having done so, would be their bias against politicians of Mr. Bridgen's persuasions. They are a truly disgusting organisation.

The government always schedule points raised by Andrew Bridgen for Friday afternoons as he has a habit of speaking 'inconvenient truths'. On one occasion you could see a tory speaking to MPs from another party and effectively chasing them out of the chamber. This government is rotten to the core and seems to have influence over other parties.
@anonnemo2504
@anonnemo2504 9 ай бұрын
@@tombridge3608 Indeed so. Very few politicians want to even hear about the ever more apparent ill effects of their decision to unleash a hastily developed and under tested medication upon tens of millions of people. Nor do the mainstream media wish to acknowledge their being the influential "cheerleaders" alongside the politicians' vaccination campaigns. It is not just the government that is rotten to the core. It is politicians of all parties and their collaborators in the mainstream media, particularly the BBC.

There is little chance of that. The inquiry is concentrating on tittle-tattle and name calling between politicians and other people whom the pandemic turned into "celebrities" and ignoring the important issues, such as why we had lockdowns after the first one, the safety and effectiveness of medical interventions, large scale fraud during furloughs and the waste of billions of pounds also on failures such as "Track and Trace". It is saying to us, "Don't look at that. Look at this", and it was entirely predictable that it would. The chamber was nearly empty because the government deliberately scheduled this debate for a Friday, by which time most MPs have left Westminster to go back to their constituencies. Mr. Bridgen uses official government statistics which suggest, quite strongly, that the medical intervention, heavily supported by politicians of all parties and the mainstream media, was not quite as safe and effective as the claims they made for it. The BBC muted the applause and cheering by the members of the public in the gallery there; this tells you how they view the public (who pay the wages of the staff of the BBC via their licence fee), and their contempt for them. One Jozef Goebbels said: “It is the absolute right of the State to supervise the formation of public opinion.” “Not every item of news should be published. Rather must those who control news policies endeavour to make every item of news serve a certain purpose.” “Think of the press (media) as a great keyboard on which the government can play” - Seems like his words and ways have not been forgotten at the BBC…

It's not about whether an individual journalist has bias, they all do. It's about having on staff journalists with many DIFFERENT biases. And newsreaders & pundits should never express personal or corporate opinions. Now the BBC is once voice, one view & eat all dissenters.

The culture of the BBC is 'anti bias' 🤔 Interesting thought. Wouldn't another word for that be 'impartial'? We know they _say_ they're impartial, but maybe that's just an objective, something they would _like_ to be (especially as its included in their mission statement.) It appears they haven't got there yet.
