Lovely speech. I live alone with my dear dog Oscar. I have no family, not even extended family. It is hard at times, but I have my memories of looking after my mum for 20 years and remembering dad and my brother who have both passed over now from cancer in their 60s. . I am happy to say I would not change my caring duties for a better life. . That is love for you. How lucky are we all to be loved or have loved. My dog says happy woofy christmas and a happy woofy new year. Dogs are not just for Christmas but for eternity. How do I know because heaven would not be heaven without them.

Couldn't agree more. I'm Mum to 4 doggies and one angel doggy who I lost on 23rd December last year. This Christmas has been very tearful, but I know I will see her again. It's an amazing thing that you did for your family ❤ I wish you and Oscar a happy and peaceful Christmas 🎄

A most marvellous, humble & gracious King. King Charles ll definitely has his late Mother's gentleness & sensitivity. I am so humbled l got to meet & speak to the late Queen Elizabth ll when both Her Royal Highness & The Duke were in Australia back in 2011. I cherish this & will never ever forget this experience. I am not a royalist but i have tuned into this speech as i have followed them this year, when news broke of cancer about the King and Kate it broke me as its personal and close to home. My dad was diagnosed in 2021 and battled for long three years but finally he is in remission and cancer or precancerous its still the word CANCER which no one should ever have to hear for themselves or the family around them it may have been my father suffering but it affects the family too..God bless the Royal family and the King as he prepares to resume treatment in 2025 ❤

Merry Christmas to everyone in my country who lives and behaves in a sociable way, respecting our Christian way of life, taking care of others and helping where help is needed if they can. So happy William and Kate and the children can now enjoy a life together. There are many thousands of volunteers all over the country, even sewers, knitters, crocheters who make things for hospitals, for babies through to the elderly. This is just one area of volunteering and I imagine there are thousands of various volunteers. Thank you each and every one.

A thousand or more people lining their walk, all clamouring to shake their hand, take their flowers etc, and shouting at them so they can get a hand shake. Would you like that life?
