The only person missing from the credits is Dot Cotton-Branning (June Brown), who, at the time, was Dot Cotton.

This was the golden age of EastEnders, it was more real and the characters were strong and talented. It went downhill April 1989 until 1994 and then slowly picked it back up again but from 2002 onwards it's been really bad. Although I do think the cast is getting stronger now. It's just the storylines

This version was used for a few episodes in 1988 then again for a few months in 1991! Think this was just a trail of the variant but it deffo had a good buzz to it compared to the original 1985 one!

What was the model of the device you used to transfer this vhs clip to digital? The picture quality is quite good for 480p. Thank you.

Was a Panasonic DVD recorder. The picture quality was good but it was so time consuming! Doing it via capture card has reduced the quality a bit but it’s good enough for me and is much quicker.
