@@jacktangent from an interview with Charles it was a song they didn’t want to make and put on the record but the record producer wanted it. I’m glad they did. In a fun and catchy song and my favorite is the opening chord. Ive always wanted to know how he came up with the idea to insert that chord at the start.

I’m 39 when I was a teenager this girl I liked was a huge pixies fan and I was the black flag guy. Hated the style at but I married her and became a fan because it’s actually fucking cool and brings me back. This girl is great on bass but what’s the deal with Kim? U think she ever come back

Yes this usually happens if you have a really good drummer AND really good sound mix.Then the drums stand out. You can hear that on Police records and Clash records and the first Dire Straits record for example.Or why not watching the detectives/Costello
