Respectfully, the Minister of the Interior is disrespecting and insulting the Mozambican people! He claims that 69 out of the 109 injured individuals are police officers? Give me a break! He was not at the epicenter of the protests; he didn’t see what the “police” did to the people. They were throwing tear gas into houses and using Real bullets against the citizens-all to defend an authoritarian regime that has oppressed the people for over four decades. Honestly, it’s heartbreaking to see my country like this and to witness how few people around the world are talking about it. Mozambicans were already suffering from poverty, and now they are being killed for demanding the bare minimum that they deserve and have the right to receive. We are all tired of Frelimo. And another thing: you can criticize Venâncio Mondlane and accuse him of this or that, but know this, "camaradas": the people were already tired. Venâncio was merely the match that lit the wood you left drying for 49 years. Salve Moçambique!!!🇲🇿

The killing of a 16-year-old in Mozambique, linked to post-election violence, highlights serious issues in the country's political and human rights climate. Allegations of election irregularities and voter intimidation cast doubt on the legitimacy of the recent elections. The state's violent crackdown on dissent fuels public unrest, deepening mistrust. The tragedy underscores the vulnerability of youth in politically unstable regions. This incident calls for international pressure on Mozambique’s government for accountability and justice while urging regional bodies like the African Union to support democratic reforms and human rights protections to ensure a peaceful, transparent political process...

I don't get involved in politics. My condolences to the young man who died in Mozambique. God bless Africa 🌍
@libertatem16363 күн бұрын
Wrong! People SHOULD get involved unless they want future generations to continue living in a banana republic without civil liberties. The enemy of the people has always been indifference, and that’s precisely what self-serving regimes love to see. President VM7 is a true national treasure!
