Peter Capaldi is absolutely outstanding in every role, I think he's prone to these grumpy and angry characters, which is funny because in real life he seems to be one of the sweetest people on Earth. By the way, this is exactly how the Twelfth Doctor would've acted and talked if Doctor Who wasn't meant to be a family show. I just imagine him being exactly like this when we don't see him.

At time of writing we've had a Prime Minister in place for 40 days, since her predecessor was forced to resign for serial lying to Parliament and breaking emergency laws he himself enacted. We're on our fourth Chancellor in four months. The economy has crashed. I watch The Thick Of It now with a kind of wistful nostalgia.

I kind of would have liked to have seen how Ollie would get along in Malcolm's position, though it wouldn't have been nearly as entertaining.
