Wow this is really great. I can learn, memorize and completely understand the vocabulary just by listening to this 6 minutes English. Actually I have recommended my friends who are studying English to watch this and they also said this is amazing. Thank you BBC for making such a helpful show. 😀😀😀

@@art_means_artificial Only an american could possibly think that america won the space race. If you list all the things related to space that the Soviets did _first_ and compare that to all the space related activities that the americans were the first to achieve, there's just no way to confuse the result; The Soviets led the space race from 1957 with the launch of Sputnik and never fell behind. Sure, the americans landed men on the moon and the Soviets never did, but the Soviets landed a rover on the moon which was remote controlled from Earth. The americans never managed to do that during the space race! The Soviets landed space craft on Venus. The americans never managed to do that! Again, only an american could ever possibly think that america won the space race!

Many more women have been recruited to work for NASA. NASA wants experts, specialists, and scientists, not just astronauts. She was selected as an astronaut. It's a realistic possibility to step on the moon. The mission to Mars, we want an astronaut with some special skills like being good at growing plants on Mars! And doing some research Her real strength is growing plants even though she's not good at maths and her handwriting is terrible. No worries
