@@PlatfootNL I think its fine we hear both. But ideally they shouldn't be performing the old tunes in this new era style. But thats just my opinion, without a doubt they're still one of the best bands this country has to offer.
@jphw854 Жыл бұрын
my issue is that he just hasnt ever been a good singer, and whilst he’s improved since their earlier albums, he is punching way to high for either his skill or simply what his voice is capable of in these newer songs. basically my problem is that technically his voice is flawed and sounds super off to me and in their older music it wasn’t as present as he didn’t over exert his voice to the same degree.

@@bruxoroki True! Even The Rolling Stones were criticized in the 70s because they didn't sound as good as they did in the 60s, and only years later they got the praise they deserved. @danielhayes8348 I'm so sorry for you guys and understand how you feel...I felt like that when I waited with a huge group of fans in front of the hotel The Killers were staying and the guys left in front of the group without saying even hello..even though we waited for hours out in the sun..and a few hours later they posted on insta stories many pictures in the pool of another hotel in a city that was just a few miles from mine (which shows they weren't busy with another concert or event but simply wanted to leave and ignored us). And that's why I can imagine how you guys feel but still think Alex was strong and tried his best to honor his fans in a way that was certainly not polite with you guys,but I bet he tried to avoid that!! And I recognized his strength for literally performing to the best of his capacities just a few days later. He has been fully present in so many concerts since last year and I cannot even imagine the impact all of that has on a person and how much it may contribute to not just his laryngitis but also extreme fatigue from not having any rest. Not to mention how much they would have to pay in case they breach the Glastonbury contract which of course is so much more than any other concert they have booked. It was certainly a strategic matter. But in the final analysis, Alex does care for you guys!!

A masterpiece of the 21st century. I love the whole vibe Arctic Monkeys embraced after TBHC in their lyrics, performances and even clothing! ❤ I love the 70's vibe. ❤ Alex if you are reading this: I LOVE YOU SO MUCH 😭❤️🥰
