@@Stem667 Correct,they also use a prerecorded vocal often these days but its mixed at a quiet level .When the singer sings along with their pre-recorded "self" it makes the vocals much more powerful.The level can be increased for the tougher dance routines so the singer doesnt get out of breath.Everything is on a time clock,millions are at stake and nothing left to chance.

Some notes are a bit off, the singing is much more dynamic than in the studio version (much less compression), you can hear the breath from time to time, you can hear the distance from the mic change from time to time. It's very clearly live. Not sure how much of the band is actually live, though. EDIT: I think much of the band is live as well. The balance of the instruments is different than the studio version, as well as the stereo image. The guitar is playing a part that is played by a synth in the studio version. The frequency balance is completely different than the studio version. Maaaaybe some parts are prerecorded, but I doubt it.

There's 100% the album vocal track playing. She may sing over it here and there but that is not a live performance that you were hearing about 99% of it is just the album track. I have heard her sing acapella, I know she can sing. But she's not doing it there
