This used to be my favourite song of theirs when they used to nail their harmonies. So now instead of listening to each other, Michael is more concerned with upstaging the rest of the band. I know he’s always been more of a ‘performer’ but sometimes he could rein it in a little for the sake of making the entire song sound better, not just his part.

It's common for bands like The Lemon Twigs to do things like this. They're just tour members. They switch it up every once in a while just like every other 1 to 2 manned ban (i.e Gorillaz, MGMT, etc)
@frankcarmack14426 жыл бұрын
@@daft_punker Megan and Danny had been playing with the brothers since 3rd grade. Danny now has his own thing he's pursuing. I think it was a amicable, mutual parting of ways. I do think Michael drove the band more directly on the drum throne. The new drummer is very good. I think their new focus required the change. They say they have enough material "in the can" for 2 more albums. One will be a more straight-ahead rock album. Should be interesting.

Was such a fan of this band until I saw them live.... write some great songs but this new line up isn’t as good as the old 4 with one of them on the drums. The younger one needs to be behind the drums when I saw them live he was such a muppet!

I really disagree, the new band are a lot better. They're good enough for Brian and Michael to be able to flex, old band was great but it was pretty clear that Michael and Brian were leaps and bounds ahead of them musically.
