We need the death penalty in every state. Not the death penalty of "going to sleep" But the old fashioned kind that put fear into people. Criminals are living the life of ease in prison. The American system of punishment isn't punishment at all. Three meals a day, a bed to sleep in, friends, drugs and violence. Going to prison isn't enough, and going to sleep is a insult to those that died in a terrible way. I'm sick of this passive, cupcake society that gives people a pass for destroying other peoples lives.

That had nothing to do with race while this was entirely about it. And attacks such as these do exhibit much more publicity because of the implications that you can be attacked in the street one day just for being black. I am trying to understand - but failing- how someone who was so violently executed by a group of three men masquerading as human beings because he was black, can generate 67 thumbs down.
