President Putin, or "They" as you like to term it, (wittingly or unwittingly demonising Russia, as the west - and we in Britain in particular - like to do constantly; this phenomenon dates back to the early nineteenth century, when British and Russian Imperial interests collided, resulting in the Crimean War) called it a special military operation, which, at the time he said it was correct, as what he was doing was responding to requests from ethnic Russians in Lughansk and Donetsk for help, as a civil war had been going on for eight years, and these areas and people were being attacked and bombed by other Ukrainians, purely for their ethnic and linguistic differences. President Putin's object, at that time, was to avoid all avoidable deaths, as Russians consider Ukrainians to be fellow slavs, and therefore kindred, as in like brothers, cousins etc. However, by the end of 2021 Pres. Putin's considerable patience was exhausted, and the fact that Nato ( or America really) wanted to put missile bases in Ukraine, thus meaning that Moscow could be within 5 minutes flying time of Nato Nuclear war heads, was, of course, viewed, very reasonably, by President Putin as an existential threat. Had Biden not interfered to make things worse again this would have been sorted out in the spring of 2022 in Istanbul, when terms of a cease-firehad already been agreed, and when Biden and his advisors ordered Bojo to go and put a spanner in the works, which the Etonian buffoon duly did, and hundreds of thousands of lives, particularly on the Ukrainian side (who are losing, and cannot win - so it would be good if this stopped sooner rather than later) were, consequently, needlessly lost and continue to be pointlessly lost in a proxy war, in reality, on America's behalf, which has caused millions to flee who may never return, and which is in danger of turning the remains of Ukraine into a rump state - and tbh, it's all the fault of the West , especially America, who no longer knows how to "do" diplomacy anymore. So if you want to blame anyone, your blame would be better directed at Biden in particular, or perhaps his closest advisors, as it's questionable how much of Biden's brain remains intact, nor did at the time in question either, although it has to be said his instincts were always warmongering, so I doubt he would have decided differently, even had he still had his full faculties. But Austin, Blinken etc. must bear a heavy burden of guilt for engineering this war, which has badly backfired, and is only likely to hasten the US's end as a hegemonic power, about which I can only cheer, as if it puts an end to pointless endless wars, and American inspired regime changes and political shenanigans all around the world, in a vain attempt to shore up its' failing Empire, it will be the best thing for all of us on this planet, and maybe we can soon get on with the really crucial matters that need addressing, like global warming and national and international matters of inequality, and desperately huge differences in wealth and prosperity. Btw the underlying reason this happened (as all knowledgeable, and truthful, commentators have said repeatedly) was that the US broke its' promise, made to Gorbachev, not to move Nato one inch to the East - a pledge they kept breaking for 30 years or so, despite EU members such as Germany and France signing the minsk accords, which are widely recognised as being just a manoevre, in order to buy more time to train up Ukrainian troops for the war that they were aware was being engineered. If you don't believe me, find the posts of people like Jeffrey Sachs and John Mearsheimer, who may still have a talk on Yt somewhere from several ( 7 or 9 maybe) years ago explaining why Ukraine is America's fault. Also something insightful from a state senator called Richard Black, back at the start of the conflict. Also various ex- military, ex - mil.- intel, and ex- diplomats - all with good present day contacts, who will say the same things as I have written - but better; people like Col McGregor or Scott Ritter, Larry Johnson or Chas Freeman , just to mention a few. There are many who have heard what these people (and more) have to say, and recognise what they have to say, and the ring of truth that their message has. At the considerable risk of being patronising I fear there are others, like yourself, who, I regret to say, need to catch up a bit. I hope you can find it in yourself not to just reject what I've tried to convey, but to have the courage to find out the truth for yourself, and not to rely on western MSM - for reasons I won't go, into it's not to be trusted.

BBC just ends up twisting things and sharing lies, like when those kids in southport unfortunatey were attacked, the BBC news amongsr a few others were showing that people were in rage attacking groups because of the attack. Then turns out the media didn't give as much coverage to the dscovery that the goivt had hid so many other facts (I dont condone of encourage the groups that attacked places of worship). It's only one but there are so many similar hidden agendas but pushing one narrative. The company should be able to stand by the point they're making then at least admit when it was wrong and why. There even is an example where if someone encites hatered leading to violence it's a crime. But what about when the group hate not hope does the same where the guy claimed someone woman had a liquid attack (when it never hapened). But that group leader pushed this narrative they werrn;t repremanded for it. Also it led to groups of muslim people realtiating on actual fake news beating up a Caucasian man who is scared and scarred for life for fake news that never happened. But they still show the hate not hope leader in a positive light. I'm not leaning to wards any group, but i am standing by the fact that they should stand by their facts and when wrong admit it and not push a narrative.
