in our Italian version all the professional dancers dance just for 20 seconds with no specific choreography. Our contestants are old, our jury is not competent about dancing (apart for 1 Scottish judge), and they talk about "emotions" and "feelings". The original UK version is far way better

Great choreography, colours and energy but not Bollywood…loved it but left a bit confused as it wasn’t Bollywood dancing to pop or Latin music besides a few bolly leg pops and it wasn’t Bollywood music to strictly dance styles like salsa, rumba, Walt or jive…I think the wedding scene could have used a Bollywood track and dance…it would have told a better story and fit the script. I give it a 7! 😂

I was once asked to give a talk on " Culture" ...... & I did a thorough study on it.... This was what I precisely, learnt, in conclusion........ " Culture is a way of life that is prevalent at any point of time.. It is the medium of education, that is widely accepted, the technology we use, our mode of transport, the gadgets we use, the most widely accepted way of dressing, etc, etc,.. att any given point of time... So ,humanity must be mentally prepared to move on in life..... .. Bollywood , the oldest film fraternity in India, is definately, on its way to cater to the new generation in India, they certainly can make movies in English, in the form of musical Operas......the above dance drama was a little over the top... They can tone it down & make the moves more graceful..& switch to the english language.. It was good all the same ......

I have been trying to find vids with actor Ramzan Miah dancing. He said he studied dance in schools in India. He is a spectacular dancer. He can carry over dance into modern dance moves.

The pros have done a Bollywood performance before, and I thought the same thing here as I did then; if you're gonna claim you're doing a Bollywood dance, then the music should be a Bollywood song and the dancing should reflect it (the singers attempt to sing in Spanish, Italian etc. why not with this or bring someone on that can?! When pros and their celebs say they're doing street dance or are using some afro moves, they do those moves, not others that vaguely resemble or take inspiration from it). Sorry to say I wasn't a fan of the choreography and the story was too weak. The only good things I can say is that Michelle was a really good choice as the female lead, and the ending was slightly better, solely because it was really lovely to see all the pros dressed up in Indian attire and having fun as if they were at a wedding.

DWTS needs MORE of this type of sequences. WE have none of this. It got boring, so I haven't been watching. Just started again this year, but boring. The U.S. has just as much different cultures and any other Country, yet NONE of this is shown. We only had ONE other "Dancing" Competition, the SYTYCD and that....after the Quarantines...changed drastically. Barely even Watched the last time it was on. I guess the U.S. is NOT so inclusive as it "says" it is.

Not one single Bollywood song. Haraamis capitalising on the name and culture of Bollywood for a western audience- remember that actual Bollywood fans watch strictly too. This was nothing like Bollywood. Use authentic songs and music and dances please. A bit of dhol, tabla and lehnga while dancing to dua lips doesn’t make this Bollywood. This is cultural appropriation by British born south Asians it seems - I’m also British born south Asian but understand Bollywood culture much better than the muppets dancing here.

I'm British Born South Asian and this is appreciation with Brown dancers and many homages to different parts of India. Bollywood songs are also NOT cultural to us btw. It is our entertainment not our culture.

Strictly has done a couple of Bollywood dances before and they were fantastic - actual Bollywood and Bhangra dance moves and actual Bollywood and Bhangra music - that shows appreciation, not this hot mess.
