As an Argentinean I have to say this was one of the most accurate performances of Tango I've seen. Most of these shows in general show a very cinematic/artificial version of Tango, which doesn't resemble the real thing. Tango is not supposed to have that many tricks/stunts either, but here they were done tastefully.

Yes, she was, and it's difficult not to see in it and the stuff at the time as an orchestrated campaign against her. There was a lot of very hurtful and unpleasant stuff. She's a brilliant dancer, and her musicality and acting in all her roles were superb. She should have got a 40 for almost all her dances.

Some of the most creative choreography I have seen performed by a couple on Strictly Come Dancing. Massive congratulations to Argentine Tango king, Vincent Simone, for choreographing this one. So lovely to see him sitting in the audience as well. Alexandra and Gorka performed it perfectly! 😍

Can I just say that I adored the choreography for being absolutely faithful to the traditional AT format - the man solo dancing and performing for his partner at the start, the woman disinterested and dismissive. Alexandra's stony flick of her face to camera at the top of the stairs was a wonderful accent. Then they used the coming down the stairs as the teasing portion, the 'no you can't get past', as the female pushes his arms and legs out of the way. Just gorgeous, gorgeous stuff, that gets better the more you watch. Sure, some of Alex's leg flicks weren't perfectly finished, and her slight pigeon toes spoil one or two lines, but the emotion of the dance was so well executed, that I can forgive the tiny little things.

Wow! Dance of the night for me unquestionably.Couldn't take my eyes off her during this and to my mind that's a sign that in my mind I am starting to see her as a proper dancer. The music helped create the mood but she revelled in it.I mean she has the raw performing talent, but to get that good at a dance in less than a week is still mightily impressive.

wow. truly stunning. i can't stop watching, especially the beginning section going down the stairs. such a dynamic and intense atmosphere, such drama and such precision from alex and gorka. spectacular choreography from vincent simone and vastly undermarked! this, of any dance, was worthy of a 40. even those who are not alexandra fans are saying this was undermarked - that speaks volumes.

It seems to be that Alexandra is judged to a higher standard in comparison to other dancers. Case and point...Alexander was praised and was said to be flawless by Craig and gets a 9 however, Debbie who we all know had mistakes even Stevie Wonder could see get the same 9. I just don't understand at all. This dance deserved a 40.

Alexandra is being harshly judged. her Argentine tango was absolutely flawless but Craig the creep gives her a 9, debbies salsa was crap and had glaring mistakes and she too gets a 9 from Craig. it's disgraceful and absolutely disgusting that he is allowed to get away with this.

Incredible to watch and have done so many times. Come on all you Alex and Gorka fans - pick up the phone or do it on-line, and vote. Don't leave it to others to get her to the finals. It is not a done deal, remember what happened to Aston when people think they don't need to bother. He should never have been in the bottom two, but at this stage it's still a popularity contest with people voting for favourites who were nowhere as good as him but have the likeability factor or made them laugh eg Ruth and Anton.

Brilliant but the scoring this series has completely put me off the whole show, it is so transparent. You have couples being grossly overmarked, couples undermarked & then a dance like this which deserved it's great score but in comparison to what others have received it should have been a 40 and then some.

Alexandra gets a 9 for an absolutely flawless performance and Debbie mcgee gets a 9 and there were glaring mistakes in her routine. it's baffling and not right. surely something can be done to stop this favouritism.

It quite simple to understand - a dance with any mistake in it should not get a 10, regardless of difficulty. Alexandra is dancing extremely difficult choreography - but a mistake is still a mistake. They could easily dance a simpler routine flawlessly and get a 10. Which is what Debbie did last week.
