That Zax was ruthless, killed his mate and didn't have the balls to man up and admit it and take responsibility for it. 8 years is nothing compared to the lad that lost his life. At the same time the driver should never have let him drive his car, especially at night when it's dark. A real sad incident for all concerned. Cars are weapons, so many life's lost because of them. My cousins wife got hit by a drink driver years ago and died instantly, her young lad at the time got his legs mashed but survived. Again a very sad incident.

Ive been in the back seat of a guy who had no respect for lives and i am glad i made it out... 3 days later he and 3 people inside his golf rice rocket crashed when overtaking before a sharp turn and hit a tree with 120km/h the driver died on impact and one of the passengers ended in a wheelchair... The car split in half and the rear slid onto a field, saving the back seats... Gave me and my buddies a reason to slow down...

Zax should of at least been given 12 and another 4 for running, his cousin should of gotten two for letting him drive but you can clearly see Zax was the ring leader and possibly scared the other lads so Danny probably felt threatened a little, Danny never ran and even took the wrap as he didn’t want to tell on his cousin probably afraid once again! At the end of the Day danny sat there and waited for the police he didn’t run he wasn’t the coward

@mentaldavethefirst3 жыл бұрын
6 years on the face of it may seem harsh but from this short snippet of what is likely to be a longer segment I suspect Dannylee knew or had reason to suspect his friend had been drinking. He had taken a car without consent and allowed an unlicensed drunk to drive that car. He wasn't old enough to give a driving lesson having not held his license long enough. He might not have intended for Zax to drive so stupidly but ultimately he does have some responsibility.

What was the other guy specifically found guilty of? Aiding and Abetting? Perverting The Course Of Justice? I presume allowing an unlicensed driver without having 'L' plates isn't going to get you six years and he might not have known his cousin was drunk.
@FunkyMonkey-ip4xy6 жыл бұрын
It will be for allowing his cousin to drive the car. They said in the video the cousin said something like 'Let me drive, give me a lesson'. If he was unlicensed and unqualified the driver has committed an offence by knowingly letting him drive regardless if he knew he was drunk or not. The six years is more than likely because it resulted in a death. That's down partly to his actions, meaning he's partly responsible.

Just watched this on Netflix.... I knew something wasnt right with Zax, he was way too calm and cocky on his first interview even if i wasnt involved no one would be that calm in response to an accident involving his friends, and for him to only get 8 years in the end is disgusting... Over here in the UK our legal system is a joke, but i was expecting somewhere over 10-15 years at the very least. But i guess its because hes a young white boy who the judge believed once he comes out he will learn from his mistakes 🙄 I felt bad for Dannylee in the end, he was traumatised and clearly regrets his decision to let Zax drive, you could tell he would never let anything like that happen again and he didnt make the investigation difficult, he told the truth from the beginning. Zax is a dangerous psychopath. He fled the scene, left his friends to die, didnt call for emergency services, went home to sleep, and then lied to police repeatedly, all he cares about his himself is all i saw. What a terrible person, who needed alot more time inside.
