Very courteous of the Echo, looks like a fun package the NA.

The camera does not do justice to the ups and downs. Like you said its a fun track for light cars. Was interesting watching your lines compared to the ones I normally use.😊

Thanks FalconDJ. Don't assume my lines are correct - been a long time since I drove around this track :-P

Any chance you can let me know your alignment setup on your NA. My set up needs tweaking not exactly confidence inspiring on track…

Sure, I mostly follow the 'Dual Duty' specs in the 949racing guide here: www.949racing.com/supermiata/tech-info/miata-race-alignment-info/

How did you get your data on the dual DIN? Do you have an after market ECU? My 01 NB has a proprietary diagnostic port under the bonnet so doesn’t support OBDII
@Bbeavis4 ай бұрын
This car has a later model factory NB ECU with OBD2.

@@Bbeavis what year was the changeover please and is it a straight swap?
@Bbeavis4 ай бұрын
@@ClarkyXPH In Australia we got OBD2 on MX-5's somewhere around 2002 onwards. My car has a full NB wiring swap. You cannot just plug an NB ECU from another year into an early model car to get OBD2.

@@Bbeavis thanks for all the prompt replies. Love your work. Might just have to get a stand alone ECU for my recently bought fair weather daily (to be) trackable NB then 😉

Hey Beavis Once again! Another Great Video !!! What do you think of the track dog racing Rotrex supercharger's system and potential ? I am struggling to find valuable and decent amt of info on Rotrex supercharger system regarding Track usage Would love to see a detailed vid of you doing a in depth comparison of a properly track setup SC NA NB mx5 vs yours monster white NB ! I got a 2001 NB, stock hp, with the upgrades of coilover, rims + tires, brake line + pads and jass performance frame rails and thats prob it. I know HP is not what i should be worrying abt at this stage as im still learning on the track... BUT JUST CANT STOP THINKING ABT WHICH FI ROUTE I SHOULD GO IN THE FUTURE....

Thank you Chenny. I'm not familiar with track dog racing's setups so I cannot say anything about that. More power is always tempting but definitely I would HIGHLY encourage avoiding it. There are a lot of costs, increased demands on the car, higher maintenance effort, more issues to manage. At the end of the day, your path is your choice, each approach has pros & cons around cost/effort/reliabliity etc.
