In Russia, they say that "shashlik does not like women's hands". Shashlik should be cooked by a man. Also, it is very difficult to eat only meat and it is difficult to eat even 300 grams, so shish kebab should be eaten with bread and lots of greens - cucumbers, tomatoes, parsley, green onions, pickled onions, onion tubers, cilantro, dill, basil, you can also add salads "Morkov to Korean", "Olivier" salad. Well, various sauces and ketchups to taste.

You should look up a "shashlik recipe" as well, because you would probably want to marinade the meat before cooking. It's required though, but it definitely worth it - not only it results in faster cooking and more tender and juicy meat, but also allows you to adjust it to your own taste by trying different marinades. Also, since classic marinades provides an acidic environment (in which meat should spend 6-48 hours, depending on its type), it will increase the lifetime of your meat, so you can take it for a far or long ride, and as a bonus will allow you to cook meat that require extra caution (like pork or wild animal), because it will destroy any unwelcomed organisms in there, so you won't have to worry if you are not skilled enough to cook meat evenly and completely.

There are huge amount of different recipes of 'shishlik'. You simply take a pork, slice it add onion and different species for a meat and let it soak in for 4-8 hours.We usually take neck part of pork, because it is contains a lot fat and will be juicy after roasting, however it depends on each person taste. You may prefer pieces with less fat. Some people prefer to add soda or white yogurt in marinade to make the meat softer, but not me. Skewers are nice to have and change the taste a little, but not neccessary. I am lazy and prefer a grille, because it does not require so much time to attach each piece of meat. Here is what I am talking about: www.mosregfermer.ru/upload/iblock/af1/af1e4d03707e52c987d1e3bb3522a70f.jpg You can search on youtube for 'шашлык' (shishlik) and see a lot different techniques. I think youtube can auto translate speach to text and for some videos you can understand everything without translation.

@alexzhukov6951
@alexzhukov6951 Жыл бұрын

Assuming your mushrooms are 'clean' (as in you know you won't get any surprise deceases from them) you can make SO MANY dishes with 'em, it's incredible. It looks like you use champignon. @@Wild-Siberia I had heard that mosquitos (I suppose that other types of bugs too) like to put theirs "eggs" in a warm usually swamp types of water(or in a small warm rivers may be) so I believe that cuz nor Baikal nor cold and fresh mountain's river is not good for these purposes, may be it is the secret :). I also heard that in Siberia forests mosquitos could be a challenge if you stuck in the forrest with no preparations(like clothes or insect repellent sprays or decent tent) Back in the history(like really back may be 800-1000+ more years ago) I heard in some part of a siberia(or may be not siberia but somewhere in the Northern land) there were execution for a criminals(I guess really bad ones) cruel in any case . So the criminal were tied up naked in the forrest and during the night the mosquitos literally execute them.
