HOW TO SMOKE A TURKEY | Smoked turkey on the Pit Boss Austin XL

It's Turkey Time!! In this video I show you how to smoke a turkey on the Pit Boss Austin XL. I injected the turkey with Tony Chacheres that can be found at Walmart. Remember to not buy the biggest turkey you can find, 12-14 pounds is the sweet spot. As always, drop your questions in the comments and I'll do my best to answer. YOU GOT THIS.

Years ago, before my pellet grill I used to do turkeys on a Weber kettle, a lot more work for sure. One year, the turkey was too big for for the lid of the kettle, so I had to jerry rig some sheet metal so the lid would not rest on the bird. Smaller turkeys and pellet grills rule. Its turkey time. How long do you leave the turkey in the fridge for the skin to dry after you gut it?
