BC Rail - The Final Lap on the Squamish Sub

A very short BC Rail southbound (led by a phantom blue and silver 'tear-drop' Dash9) passes through beautiful British Columbia scenery wailing its loud signature K5H (K5L / K5) horn to ensure nothing empedes its path.
(these shots were taken soon after the takeover by CN and during the forest industry's constant struggle :( - hence the short consist and missing "Pemberton Pusher" Power)
(sorry for the rough shot at 'Porteau'. It's at least a 120 degree pan and I was tripping on the tripod legs while awstruck by that awesome horn! - if that doesn't sound like "get out of the way", I don't know what does!)

Trains don't run between West Vancouver and Williams Lake anymore. The rails at Lions bay are rusted right over.

They've only got the 2 Dash 9's? No wonder the train is short, 28-30 cars is all 2 dash nines can pull up the hills to Birken and Mons.
