DAMN. After watching way to many videos you're the only one who answered my question!!!! I'm an endurance athlete and I have no idea whether I am wasting money on my supplements. There are a lot of people who say I don't need it anymore because I have pea protein but the fact that you mentioned that it's good for endurance training for endurance athletes is the deal breaker. Listen, they said that BCAAs in general boost endurance training performance, but that doesn't mean the BCAA supplement is the only way of getting them. They also said that. So if you have a good diet, BCAAs supplements are completely useless. If you lack protein, just buy whey or casein or whatever. All good protein powders contain all kinds of amino acids including BCAAs. Everything they said in the video is true, but it can very easily be interpreted wrongly. After all they have to try and sell it.

I have two questions, 1. Is it okay to take whey protein in the morning and then in the afternoon take BcAAs. Lastly is it okay to take BcAAs after a workout?

yes, you can take both whenever you want. But if i was you, i would take the BCAAs During your workout as it improves your endurance and allows you to train hard for longer periods of time. Then, when your workout is done and you're home, eat some carbs to refuel those muscles (banana good) and drink your whey protein shake. I try to drink mine around or not later than 30 minutes after my workout. Best for muscle growth. But at the end of the day, this shit is just protein. Take it whenever you want, as long as your total amount of protein eaten every day is over 125g for growth.

Yes to both of your questions. It all just depends on what the individual prefers. I prefer to take my protein & bcaa after workout. Immediately after my workout I mix a scoop of bcaa & scoop of creatine together with water. 40 mins to an hour I drink my whey protein. Which has even more bcaa.

Right on, but isn't there a lot of research showing that excess protein is bad?

"Excess" anything is bad. The chance of a healthy person eating enough protein for it to considered excess is pretty low though. There are lots of studies confirming the safety of very high protein diets.
