I love the drums in this. They completely drown out the vocals, you keep anticipating it to join in with the guitars but they never do except for a few hits here and there, and then they just stop. It makes it sound like what Isaac is saying is just being obscured more and more even when he raises his voice, like there’s no chance for him to be heard. Of course he said that in reference to the delicate sounding but emotionally raw "Perfect Circle ", but he could have just as easily been referring to "Snow Globes." I love the song and the performances but am i the one who finds some of the mixing during the most intense section to be kind of poor? Maybe it’s just me but compared to how the mixing is done on the other tracks I find this one to be lacking a little Anyways great song hopefully will sound better in full album context EDIT- this mix has actually really grown on me and thinking about how the songs seems to end without any conclusion- just being a burst of emotion like the drums that drown out everything- makes a lot more sense when thinking about basketball shoes as the next track. Basketball shoes being the HUGE sounding operatic epic it is it makes sense to have this more raw sound that leads directly into that song- especially with the simple guitar riffs that close SG and open Basketball shoes. Funny how opinion changes but I will leave both of my responses up

@@osso321 I wouldn’t be surprised if the drums kind of drowning out the vocals was intentional. I think it really adds to the intensity of the song

Yea the mixing is a bit rough with the drums, still a great song.
