May I point you at the Riverge Leader Rings, 1.5mm hole and intended for fly leader to tippet. Braid may be tied to it with a neat Palomar. Which allows you to /quickly/ change the leader without messing about for half an hour with a double-Allbright or FG thing.

May I point you at the tiny HTO Light Game Link, so small that they won't clip to a rod guide. There may well be similar from other makes out there.

Oh dear, condolences on your rod. I can only imagine how terrible that must feel. Especially considering the price. Question though, i read that for PE lines, each PE rating is approx 10 lbs. So PE1 is ~10lb and PE2 is ~20 and so on. Wouldn't that mean your line is kinda too heavy for this rod since it's rated for 2 to 5 lbs?

Where did you order your rod from? I'm currently in japan at Sansui fishing and tackle shop in tokyo and they are telling me that the daiwa bbb doesnt exist in japan.
