Rest In Peace my friend. Thank you for introducing me to BFS fishing. Your videos were a wealth of knowledge when virtually no one was making videos about UltraLite Baitcasting gear.

yeah I had a $100 rod snap on me as I set the hook.. it was the first day using it. I also have a amazon "LEO" rod that is heavy and very stiff, I've used it often on windy days when I need to throw weight, it costed $15 and but I don't have to worry about it breaking because it's $15 but also I've used it for over 5 years and have little to no problems. both spinning rods. the only problem with the $15 one is that it's ugly heavy and the rings are really cheap brass but very easy repairable.

Greetings, I'm new to your Chanel, but have enjoyed several of them. While going to your chanel I noticed you haven't uploaded videos since 2019. Is there a reason you stopped uploading new material? Hope all is well. ✌️

This is a great informative video; but perhaps you'd consider remaking an updated version of the rods and reels as more affordable options have come into play. If you have a updated version please post link(s). Thank you for your consideration. ✌️

Just picked up the spinning version 602UL, can't wait to test it out when trout season opens here in Belgium in 2 weeks from now. Hoping it'll do the trick, it's rated 2-8gram but I'm really hoping it won't completely bend when casting 2,5-5gram lures/cranks into the current. What do you reckon?

Whats your oppinion on small rods. I'm planning to buy a 3 foot rod. Because I think it will be easier to maneuver. Edited: so hight does matter. I think it will be easier to maneuver because I'm 5'4, ordinary rods feel awkward. I'm more of a one handed kinda person also.

I have a silly question, do telescopic rod blanks have backbone like conventional rods, and if so, How does one find the backbone on a telescopic rod. Thanks.
@shawnmendrek35446 ай бұрын
Kastking Black Hawk II is too cheap to be useful IMO, I doubt a $45-$60 telescopic rod is going to be as useful as a $120 telescopic rod. I expect to spend more than the same for a telescopic vs normal rods.

These rods make sense for folk without a truck or car. space savers means more gear in the pack(depending on weight). Can easily use a moped however, to travel with. Or a motorcycle.

I do not trust telescopic ladders, however I did not know they made fishing rods. So I would not die from the rod failing compared to a ladder, maybe this turns out good. inb4 the rods are fine.

Rod/reel combo with fishing kit as an emergency setup kzbin.infoUgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend but started to use this every day. The rod is thick and seems durable. I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.

Wow just seeing this out of the box kzbin.infoUgkxQr1yd4Zc6qJF-scTB6Zb9dQbVpviuRxB recommend I have yet to fish with this set up, but based on the first hands on appeal, I can tell this is going to change the way i pack and carry to a whole new level. If you fish like i do, you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I’ve added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.
