I am looking for top loaders that will be big (and thick) enough to hold the “Creepy” and “Eerie” archives TPB editions that are re-releasing.. They are 8.5”x11” in size, but they are right around (or slightly above) 1/2” in thickness..I read these digitally, however, I am collecting these physically as they release, because I want to get the entire sets..Keep in mind, these are for the TPB..Thanks!

What size toploader did you use for your mylar books? I'd heard you might need to upsize the toploader in order to fit them. ex. Silver age toploader for current books in mylar.

You should check the inside dimension of the top loader and the thickness of the comic book

You can try it at your local comic shop and ask if they can try fitting a DC black label comic inside a modern age top loader.

No. Magazines are too big. I believe they sell bigger ones to fit your needs.

I don't think it's bad but it will cost more. Comic books have different ages (silver, bronze, modern etc) and they vary in size.

@@Jay_Rule this one is a comic magazine so it is slightly smaller than A4 paper. 9x12 was the closest I could get.it is pretty close but not as tight of a fit as yours.

I put all mine in bag and board before it goes in the top loaders so I guess tape would do or saran wrap.

@@40zed I think the issue we are worried about is that it can fall out when the box is tipped over etc. I think a lip of tape in the middle will solve the problem and not interfere too much with the display.

Thanks for the video. I've never used toploaders before, but bought 10 current and 10 silver age size and I admit I didn't know exactly how to use them. They're definitely a cheaper alternative to the solid plastic cases you can get for comics. Not sure if I'm happy with how flimsy the toploaders are in the middle. Anyways, thanks again for the video.

I suggest storing them in plastic sleeve and board before putting in toploader as an added level of protection against dust and air.
