What if the man with the straw hat is roks d xebec? The way I see it, he could have a reason to watch over the poneglyph, maybe gate keeping the one piece for someone he deems worthy, having given up on his dream of conquering after losing to Roger. His burn scar could be from the mother flame or some other object destroying god valley. If he’s not the bad guy he is said to be by the marines then it may not be crazy for him to meet with crocus on amiable terms. Also, although I think scooper is more than likely the man with the straw hat, it would make more sense to me for roks to give luffy some training considering how strong we assume him to be and the only feat we know that can hurt a gorosei was done by joyboy, I’m just not sure scopper has the requisite strength. And if we are dealing with countries that have been erased (lulusia last arc, ohara this arc) it may be on topic to find out about god valley here. I still think that it’ll be scopper since he would act as the new worlds version of Rayleigh (Rayleigh led the straw hats to the new world, scopper would lead them to laugh tale) and as a key member of Roger’s crew I think he needs to have a larger role.

How I see this can play out, luffy will fight shanks twin brother who came after loki. Luffy will try everything he can to win but shanks twin outclass him with his haki that far surpass luffy’s own haki. Luffy will start to lose but gets saved by scopper who is able to go toe to toe with shanks twin incredible haki. Shanks twin will retreat for backup and scopper will help luffy recover and teach him how to take his haki to the next level.

There seems to be a way to use conqueror's haki to "stun" (for lack of better word) the gorosei. The haki emitted by Emet's rope deactivated their summoning. I would bet that had it been used on the gorosei directly, it would allow them to be hurt. Maybe if someone had attacked Saturn after that haki blast, he would have taken damage.

Really hoping it's Shiki and not Scopper. Scopper ain't really important and he hasn't been mentioned at all in the manga. Also, him teaching Luffy some haki to deal with the Gorosei's healing would be kinda insane. That sounds like some shit only Yonkos would know, and considering he'd be weaker than Rayleigh him knowing that would be crazy. Having it be Shiki who was actually beefin' with Roger and Whitebeard and was a part of the Rocks Pirates would probably be a lot better.

Shiki has barely been mentioned either in the manga and Scopper is one of the few members of roger's crew that has been named(not in the manga but we know his name) and shown but not had any confirmation of their fate yet. Rayleigh was also barely seen up to us meeting him. I'm not saying Shiki can't be there but I'd argue Scopper is just as likely to be shown.

Reading the latest chapter (leaked, so I won’t comment on any spoilers) however, there was a small, yet likely very important comment from a giant. There has to be a human that frequents or even lives in Elbaph. I initially thought it had to be someone in Shank’s crew, or even Shanks himself. However, given the siluet you’ve shown and this theory, it is quite possible that that person is in fact Gabban.
