If I was designing a competitive for battlefield. It would decide who gets a win and comp rank increase by squad points like squad points in verdun. Your team could lose but if your squad was in the top 50% of all the squads in the game, you would get an increase to your rank. Same if you are on the winning side but did jack shit to help, you would get nothing or worse a de-rank.

Overwatch videos are a dime a dozen so play a game that is a rare breed of a video game: No Season pass, free DLC, no progression based micro transactions, an actual single player campaign that is one of the best ever created, fun online multiplayer, no BS lag and dedicated servers, private matches, and a community that loves and wants only the best for the game.

1:07 which is why I love having a multiplayer with bots option or co-op in games, not just so that my kills don't inevitably cause someone to feel sad/ragey/butt-hurt, but so that furthermore it better purifies the strata of players who want different experiences. I for instance have a satisfying high-stakes job and like to relax in various gameworld, enjoying explosive or agile gameplay and nerding out with different character builds to explore a game. Despite usually being in the top 3 on the winning team scoreboard in Battlefield 3 back in the day, competition wasn't the main point for me, it was the addictive thrill of the gameplay elements and immersive world design : ) (goddamn the memories make me want to glitch into upper floors and do tricks with spawn beacons again, or slide through the battle lines as a medic).

Team work is important, and battlefield needs more of it. When I squad is sticking together and following others in bf, they're unstoppable. Just the other day I joined a squad of randoms with mics on fort de vaux, we communicated, stuck together, played the objective, and we were at the top of the leader board, had kds of 4.0 or higher, and captured a total of 27 flags which won the game, best experience I had on bf in a very long time.

I completely I agree with what you're saying about Battlefield tactics. I've been on servers on Battlefield 4 with a full squad of friends where everyone is on the mic and it's super competitive and it's the most fun I've ever had in a video game. Hands down. There have been matches on 1600 ticket servers where I have won or lost by single digits and the match was 50 minutes long. I just wish that everyone playing battlefield could have that experience.

this video just reminded me why I just dropped BF1, back in BF3 I used to play amateur tournaments alongside my clan but by know I just don't find any enjoyment in playing a battlefield game. Nowadays I only play Rainboe six siege because most players do think about what they are doing since you don't get to respawn 5 seconds later and lol it off
