Bdubs, I mean it wholeheartedly when I say that you are not only an inspiration, but a true innovator. There are so many incredible builders in this game in 2023, but in my opinion there is no one else pushing the boundaries in such exciting ways. The way you consider composition and scale has genuinely changed the way I look at building, and your usage of shading and texture feels like the perfect evolution of the gradient related concepts I've been experimenting with for the past three years. Your builds remind me that even in 2023 there is still so much left to learn. Keep it up with the amazing work!

I love the idea of adding some lore to the world for unnecessary builds. I'm picturing some rickety wooden rope bridge (similar to Scar's bridges from his enchanted forest build in a previous HC season) that the witch built because she couldn't be bothered to use the main bridge farther away, and the magistrate is unable to have it torn down because of some enchantment making it completely impervious to damage.

One on the reasons I like following Bdubs is the way he enjoys showing off his builds. With others you get time lapse and flyby. But with Bdubs you get walkthroughs, horse rides from different angles and the flyby. The excitement is infectious.

I love the idea of the dead tree but I feel like there’s not enough separation from the background so it kind of feels a little muddled when you look at it, I wonder if there is a different block palette you could use to make it stand out a little more without ruining the whole dead vibe. Great video as always!

You do this all the time, and it's what I really admire and respect about you as a creator, but I think the road of this bridge specifically is a really great example of a high level of technical visual skills. That 4-block gradient pattern? That is so subtly sophisticated and well-designed, and a testament to the way you work with Minecraft blocks as a colour palette. You've managed to differentiate between two very subtle but distinct grey hues, and then enhance its detail in gradients and textures by using two separate blocks that fit the specificity of those 2 hues, so when you're close you get these 4 horizontal lines that blend in the background into the zig-zag pattern. I love it, and all of the work you do. You are a major inspiration.

lore idea( sory for the gramar, brazilian writing): at some point in the past there was a invasion on the vilage/ city and , as the enemies as the enemies got closer the soldiers form the city were geting defeted. At the end they were circled from enemies and was only left two of them, the brothers who kept fighting until the end, one guarding the other's back. They stand stil until military support came from other place but they don't resist and died on the bridge. Or they could live, its optional :) (sory again for the wrong parts )

That deadpan face of his in the commercial was wonderful😂 It might just be me, I feel like the statues have a little to much distance between them. They could use something hanging between them. Like some banners hanging from a "rope" between their shoulders or something. Or something to break up the large gap. Doesn't need to be as tall as them.

Bdubs if you are looking for something to stand out, but stand alone in that sea of plains biome around your spawn, you might want to take a look at a project Frank Lloyd Wright drafted called "The Illinois". It would be a Burj Khalifa type project, which would be interesting to see you work on, as you don't often build things like skyscrapers.

It's pretty neat that Mojang has steadily introduced blocks that you previously had to create texture packs to use. Remember years ago when you turned nether bricks black so you would have a black brick texture for the swamp kingdom of Eden? Well, now there is Blackstone and all those other black bricks. Then you turned birch forests into cherry blossoms, and now there are cherry trees.

Bdubs, I mean this in the most constructive and non-negative way: I think one thing about your world that could be improved is its ambient environment. It feels like you rely slightly on mods, fog, etc. to create that ambience for you, but at times it feels like there's just tons and tons of GORGEOUS structures just placed in a little environment but with nothing between them. Fwhip and Scar are really good at creating those landscaping connections and may be a good place to be inspired by. Love the build! Just wanted to give a little feedback (like in the olden days of youtube when comments were all tips and feedback)
