Not at all. He probably wasn't corrupt (I believe he was), but his downfall was that he dismissed all allegations of corruption, like her sister winning multimillion-dollar contracts/tenders. Even if she followed the proper procedures, it didn’t look right. However, it didn't look right. Masisi also made over 50 international trips in less than four years, all while advising against wasting government funds (and there is nothing to show for those trips). In my view, the most corrupt on record. Not saying I was a fan of Khama though.

I stayed in Botswana from 2002 to 2008 and do recall with gratitude that my very last month, May 2008, you announced new salaries and I benefited. My temporary contract at Jwaneng Technical College ended on 31 May 2008 and had to reluctantly come back to Kenya. I have been following your sourjon in South Africa and was always sympathetic that a former president, even a royal family member, being a son of the former first president, could not enjoy his retirement in his own home and country and this was very painful for me.
