Its because the life series is ment to be short so 8 or so episodes And not enough deaths happened so far so starting this episode they swapped from non damage tasks to mostly damage based tasks to hasen the fnale as this is episode 7 and as a weekly thing its pulling from the players time especially as its now the holiday season and most are married with kids. So its not that they wouldn't do a longer colab smp but they have to be done by a set time. So blame the starting time plus this year has been buisy for the players hence why not all the regulars joined this series.

I found that task pretty lame tbh, had nothing to do with secret life anymore, it overwrote all tasks, couldn't be guessed and was just a lazy excuse to end the season earlier (understandable but dont like how it was done)

@@nuttyrawr Correct. Except Mumbo's task was not the first butler task either. The reason this one is fun is that both Grian AND Etho have the same task, and yet they can't tell each other. The point of my suggestion was just to give an idea to the secret life people behind the scenes, who put the tasks together, to edit as they wish. Maybe it would be better with Grian as Etho's butler, Etho as Scott's butler, and Scott as Grian's butler. Who knows, but I'm sure the task makers can come up with something hilarious!

Gem is probably one of the scariest people to have ended up with this task. Initially give this to a more careful or passive player (e.g., Impulse, BigB) and they might have let this sit for most of the session. But Gem was right away like "NOPE, Imma trap multiple bases and wait for my seeds to take root," and that's what let it cascade into THIS. Gem being Gem was the catalyst for this session being so awesome/hilarious.

Task ideas (commented these previously, idk if you are allowed to post the same one more than once…) (Red): cause another player to take damage in 5 different ways (Normal): Throughout the session you frequently forget or get confused as to what life series you are in. For example, if you’ve experienced betrayals in past life series, act as though they just happened. If you had past partnerships/teams, use this. You could also use past bits/running jokes. Additionally, you could bring up things like the boogyman, time running out, or soulmates as if these are currently in effect. You must engage with other players while experiencing these episodes. If someone mentions that you are bringing up old events, act confused/disoriented/in denial. (Normal): You can’t use the letter M

The trouble with real trees inside is they have to die. A compromise might be to bring in lots of branches and decorate all around to give it that aroma, while using a decent quality reuseable tree for the centerpiece. Personalky, I like tonset up a little grove of different sized fake christmas trees. Some natural, others very fake. It comes out very charming and festive, I think.
