Hey Ramsey. I train kickboxing and currently compete by doing point fighting. I would like to transition to K1. However, my gym is mainly point fighters and there is only 1 K1 fighter - as well as the coach. Because there is only one fighter, I will have to often spar Dave (the coach). Now this wouldn’t be bad except Dave is someone who hits hard in sparring and is roughly double my weight. Dave likes to do things his own way and doesn’t mind making enemies. I understand that I will be hit hard when I am competing but I don’t want to constantly be hit hard to the head during sparring. This is putting me off transitioning to a style that I would prefer. I don’t want to switch gyms because, for one, it is right opposite my house which is really handy, and the second reason is I have settled in there now and made friends. I like everyone else there and the place has a nice vibe. What would you suggest I do to handle this situation.

@RamseyDewey2 ай бұрын
Yes, i have finished the NES version of Double Dragon a number of times. It takes a very different strategy than the arcade version due to the extra platforming levels and the RPG-like leveling system. It took patience to figure out how to game the system, but compared to nearly impossible games like Battletoads, Double Dragon was very completable. The NES version of Double Dragon 2 was much, much harder to finish, mostly due to the extra platforming levels and the clunky jumping mechanic. I never made it past the first phase of final boss, and only saw the ending of the game decades later on youtube... and by the way, one of the coolest musical scores in NES history only plays during the second phase of the final boss fight, which most players never even got to hear. The NES version of Double Dragon 3 was the worst- 1 life, no continues, overpowered enemies... and the same kind of clunky platforming with instant death traps as DD2. I made it about halfway through the final level after way too many playthroughs before I quit that game for good.

Never stop with your theological and phylisophical videos. I know someone thats a civil engineer, and though they were primarily athiest at one time, they'v over time slowly become more of a creationist, aswell as many of the people they have met in university. After a while, it just seems like alot is just too in order that science and evolution can't explain. I'v never believed we came from monkeys. As you mentioned, monkeys thrive in their current envirenments. They really are a blessed beast. They are incredibly powerful, they're fairly intelligent compared to other animals in certain areas, and yet most of them are omnivores, with their diets changing with the seasons, much like our own long ago. So they are rarely roaming around starving and constantly on high alert because of predators. Monkeys have it easy and have no reason to change just because they figured out how to hold a stick better. It makes no sense, and this isn't just my theory, but many that have a much high iq than my own. There are so many paths i could go down as to why the others also have their beliefs, but i'll stay on this one for now. So, on the topic of animals adapting to predation and ease of survival...... I also know a biologist. He used to be Darwin yes man aswell. The more he learns, the less it makes sense. Adaptation seems to be a real thing in animals, they have proven that, but to completely change from one things to another through adaptation, really is a theory that was an insult and blessing for alot of creatures if you believe in such a thing. For one, alot more herbavores should have obtained the power of flight, aswell as sharper hearing, rather than having average to medium high levels of sight and smell that can be deceiving, and a decent top speed with some cardio. Antlers are handy, but not when they are facing the other way. I just see a very designed system. Evolutionishsts would than say well than there would be sky battles because something would begin to hunt another, when then maybe thats why they got the antlers sticking upright on theyre heads and evolution totally missed the part about the sky battles, and why they came back down and got antlers and horns. Even though the mooses aren't sharp. He got nerfed badly. Even a moose living in the woods like they do around here. You have a creature, living in the woods, with one of the widest sets of antlers.... walking through a biom that's literally an opstacle course of poles sticking out of the ground. Evolution failed the moose, yet it's one of the largest and most powerful North American herbavores. I'm certain that when it sees a buffalo on a ranch, it gets incredibly envious. Then you have the Rhino...... on the open African plains.... with a pertruding horn. What happened there? Horse rides through the forest make sense, heck even rhino rides in the summer make sense in the forest, but guess what, you don't go on moose rides in the forest, because they take a very long time as it navigates it's path of least resistance, and the poor thing lives there. I'm certain, that moose could be gentle enough creatures, to be ridden into battle, and for leasure, like some elves on lord of the rings, but you don't see it happen because of the antlers. Forests arent like the movies all of the time, no, they are thick and incredibly hard to go through. See, i can see why birds arent so smart i suppose. They mastered evolution, but not evolving at all. Atleast some of them. Even the grand chicken, the actual closest relative of the t rex apparantly, somehow knew that if it went from being the creature that ate the most on land, to being the being thats eaten the most, it's lineage would survive! i'm not joking, the chicken must never forget who it is! It is the descendant of the t rex, just google it. What the heck Darwin, what the heck indeed. He forgot about the chicken. I could go on, but i better take a pill, relax, and do something productive. I honestly see so many branches from each topic i could go down. So about branches and trees. I'll just leave that alone. However, what are the chances of plants being able to synergize so well with human? Yes, we know some monkeys figured out how to open some nuts, but there are some, if offer incredible medicines when processed with water and other plants, that absolutly no animal could ever get lucky of coming across. Yes our lottery winning monkey hands somehow fit the design to process these plants. Alright, better just leave it at that. Yes, sadly there are some that are closer to the animals than they should be, and we should pray for them. It's a mans duty to understand, that the path of least resistance, often is the soft sandy hill down to hell. Though the stairway to heaven is of hard rock and steep, it's but a short and hard journey, but great eternity as some say. The other not so much. I think one of most disturbing trends in our modern day is the influence of Satan on the youth. How it's made to look trendy and normal. How Rappers admit to being satanists and doing what we would call odd things, yet they make these trendy music videos full of colours and bright scenes to attract young audiences. Ofcourse it's primarily abou the money, and many of us know the main standards of the church of Satan are based on freedom of thought and action partially, rather than actual religious demon worship, and proclaim athiesm more than anything. Yet why do they still beleive rituals to be neccesarry in a larping manner where they offer, and speak to make beleive demons? it's an odd thing. The worst part about it is that, these rappers that have the shiny and happy videos, also admit that they have alegience to street gangs. These are the gangs that destroy innocent peoples lives with violence. It's abhorant that civilized society supports them. It's madness. Much like some vile animal, they rob, assault, and worse, yet somehow are praised enough to be infuential in the media. Just thinking about it really summons something inside of me thats not far off from their mentality i suppose. Yes, it's about being better than that, and hoping others will be to.
@BWater-yq3jx2 ай бұрын
It's about time people gave up on Evolution as a viable theory. Darwin himself said that the absence of intermediate life-forms in the fossil record was problematic. They should outnumber the final forms by millions to one, but there are virtually none. Evolutionists try and replace faith in a Creator with faith in Time. Time is their God. With enough Time anything is possible. But no, not really. The chance that a hurricane will blow through a junkyard and assemble a fully functioning fighter jet from scrap... is zero. Repeat that every day for a million years... still zero. At this point, believing in Evolution is just a desperate attempt to eliminate a Higher Intelligence from one's worldview. Not smart. Not 'science'. Just foolishness.

@justinAclark20752 ай бұрын
I think that's mostly correct. But I do feel there must be some exceptions, and even areas where we simply couldn't perceive the phenomenon and therefore can't give the proper credit due. For example, ants used highly advanced strategy when engaged in warfare, which vastly outshines the human capacity for cooperation on such a large scale. This is just an example we CAN perceive. I can only imagine what our senses do not have access to
@ivanhernandez78882 ай бұрын
Ants don’t have highly advance strategy; what they have is a lack of free will. They do as they are ordered without question; that is why it looks like “cooperation” but it isn’t. Regarding the original comment, yes animals don’t have a language. Let’s remember the very first function of language isn’t communication but thought. We use language to think all day long, we use language to communicate very little if you compare it to the amount of thoughts you have in your head. And most of the time we don’t communicate very well, hence why we have so many misunderstandings. You know all the “what I meant” versus “what you understand”.
