This msg blessed me. Regarding the death of babies, I want to remind ourselves of what David said when his baby died. He said that his child will not come to him but he will go to his child. Paul said, “I was alive without the law once, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died.” Also read Numbers 14:26-32. In Verses 30-31, God said, “But for your LITTLE ONES, whom you said would be victims, I will bring in, and they shall know the land which you have despised. But as for you, your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness.” Children that die are SAFE. When I don’t see something in the Bible, I don’t prefer to say that it’s not there in the Bible. I say, “I haven’t seen it yet in the Bible.” Just because I don’t see something in the Bible, it doesn’t mean it’s not there. I am talking about anything that is related to God and salvation. I love hearing David Pawson. He is a blessing from God.

Remember that King David said that he would one day go to his baby who had died.

Baptism is not a “work,” because it is PASSIVE! It is not something that you do, it is done TO YOU! Does a dead man bury himself?

Why do some people choose to baptize in “the name of the Father , the Son the Holy Spirit”? And not in the name of Jesus Christ?

Its the great commission Matthew 28 :16

I believe acts 2:38 is the revelation of Matthew 28:19. It is acknowledging the fullness of the godhead within Jesus and confessing who our Redeemer is. Also, reading Matthew 28:19 with a different glance, it is a request for this confession. To repeat the words and not SPEAK THE ANSWER is a bit cheeky. If I said to my child, “Go tell your teacher you are sorry.” And my child said, “tell your teacher you are sorry” and didn’t FULFILL WHAT I MEANT, I’d consider it a bit of backtalking. Just something to chew on! God bless!

@@becomingtherose I agree. Also Jesus says “in the name” (singular not plural) not names. 3 titles = 3 names. Wouldn’t He have said “in the names”?

When you are baptized, it's in the NAME of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins.... Acts 2:38-39 KJV - Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Hi but aren't babies born with Adam's and Eve's sin? Don't they inherit this original sin too?
@becomingtherose12 күн бұрын
We are all born with a sin nature. You are RIGHT! However, repentance is the first step before baptism and babies certainly don’t qualify. It is my belief and understanding that children below the age of accountability (whatever that age may be) fall under the covering of a believing and obedient parent. God bless!

33:00. Simple. Baptism washes away original sin which ALL inherit at birth.

COUNCIL OF MILEUM II “[W]hoever says that infants fresh from their mothers’ wombs ought not to be baptized, or say that they are indeed baptized unto the remission of sins, but that they draw nothing of the original sin of Adam, which is expiated in the bath of regeneration . . . let him be anathema [excommunicated]. Since what the apostle [Paul] says, ‘Through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so passed to all men, in whom all have sinned’ [Rom. 5:12], must not be understood otherwise than the Catholic Church spread everywhere has always understood it. For on account of this rule of faith even infants, who in themselves thus far have not been able to commit any sin, are therefore truly baptized unto the remission of sins, so that that which they have contracted from generation may be cleansed in them by regeneration” (Canon 3 [A.D. 416]).

Only problem with that is that the Lord does not hold them accountable for it according to Romans chapter 7. Even though they have inherited sin, that is to say, a sin nature, they are not held culpable for that, because Paul was alive under God. if they pass, they would go to heaven to be with the Lord. When someone gets to the place of accountability, sin revives, and they spiritually die, and they need a new birth. Baptism is exclusively for believers according to the New Testament pattern. I don’t think infant baptism is in moral, but when that person believes, they need to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, acts 2:38, 4:12, eight versus 12:16, 10:48, 19:5, 22:16, Romans six verses 3:6, one Corinthians 1:13, Galatians 3:27, etc.. You have to die spiritually before you can be made alive again.
