The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV has just launched in Australia and I’ve tested the EQE300 model, which is rear-wheel drive. Basically, it feels like an old-school V6 wagon…but in a high-riding EV format.
The spec is high, but there’s one key option you will need to make this Merc as comfortable as it should be.
Rivals to the EQE SUV are chiefly the Audi Q8 E-tron and BMW iX3 and iX.

No clickbait: you'll need the $3400 Airmatic air suspension to make the EQE ride like a true Mercedes. Our tester didn't have it, which was rather obvious.

My GLC300 lease is up and the dealer is offering crazy incentives to get a EQE 350 4matic SUV @ $549 / month, 2 years free charging on the national network (a station a few blocks from my house) free home charger including installation. Dealer told me that this car will have pricey repairs down the road but won't be my problem. I'm in California

What shocked me when I saw it was the poor paint (orange peel) and cost-cutting. It's way too expensive to get a pass on that. You can see it at 0:23 in the video. Then you can't un-see it thereafter.

I have had my EQE350 SUV for 3 months and very happy with the technology and comfort. However, a message appeared on the screen "Cooling System Malfunction Reduced drive system perfor. Visit workshop" The car had to be taken on a tow truck 200 Km away to the dealer. They had it 4 days and said it needed an evaporator and there was no spare evaporator in the world. That was a week ago and no contact since. Consumer law says they should refund or replace if it can't be repaired in a reasonable amount of time. Does anyone know what is considered to be a reasonable amount of time?

Imagine when the air suspension shits itself at the 6 year mark [just as warranty runs out]. I mean, the over-engineering ended decades ago.😂

another reason to choose the 350: the 300 can only tow 750 kg, the 4WD do 1800 kg

After having owned a GLC43 I could never buy another Mercedes, it was utter rubbish. I went to a Model X performance after that, and that was even worse. I'm happy with my current RSQ8. It's almost as good as my trusty old 3.6R outback

exterior looks awful to me but the interior is stunning i like it for someone like me who has 0 mechanical sympathy and drives everything i get my hands on within an inch of it's life the white steering wheel won't age well with my sweaty hands maybe an optional black steering wheel with the white interior is the answer
