The 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is one of the German brand's newest high-riding wagons, but it's unlike any other before it. While the one-size-smaller EQC was its first all-electric vehicle, the new model is the first to be based on a dedicated EV platform. Point being, to quote its maker, it should be 'the best or nothing'.
Of course, the EQE SUV arrives in Australia around the same time as the upper-large EQS SUV, of which it shares most of its advanced technologies. If you're keeping record, both models have sedan relations in the EQE and EQS, respectively, but the game is all the same: bringing zero-emissions motoring to more of Mercedes' core products.
In this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Emily Agar and her family of three spend a week living with the entry-level EQE300 SUV to find out if it truly puts families first. After all, it has to be more than just an EV.
