I have major trust issue, with real estate agents, time to time I have tried few agents from different communities. My recent experience. my agent (seller's) did not entertain any offers from other agents, until he found a client who wants to use him as a buyer's agent as well. If I did not agree, I would be waiting forever for an offer. The seller has no transparency (in practical) on who is interested or anything. Technically, I am forced to accept the offer where my agent is representing both buyer and seller. Otherwise, my agent would find his colleague to represent the buyer. The whole real estate system is rigged in Canada.

Thank you for this bringing up. It is the same for a buyer too. No transparency for buyers too. So called industry experts rule the turf others are pushed and shoved around.

@@jasminhabeeb The sad truth in Canada is that government has no interest to fix any issues. Canada is still the wild west, government just want their tax collections. People are just there to shove around by all the businesses.
