As a cradle Roman Catholic, I fell away from my faith many years ago and I wanted absolutely *_NOTHING_* to do with Christianity at all. But then I came back to my faith after going to Eucharistic Adoration and experiencing the Holy Trinity in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. Because it was an experience that was truly transcending in every sense of the word. It made me feel cleansed, protected, whole and fulfilled, and it reminded me that indeed my Father never abandoned me but that I had fallen away from my Father. So, as a great sinner but a sinner who loves God above all things. I implore all Christians and especially those who doubt, or who are afraid, or are skeptical. Please do your research but come to Eucharistic Adoration! Because Jesus is there waiting to receive you and welcome you. Come to know Him. There is no better companionship than Jesus and no one knows you like our Father. The Holy Spirit reached out to me, brought me to Jesus, and through Jesus I know the Father. I'm so happy to be back home and this past Easter Vigil I did my Confirmation. So, all glory and thanksgiving to our Father in heaven.

I'm also a Jewish convert to the Catholic Faith. Very excited to discover your channel! I had a dramatic conversion experience in 1990, through a dream. I fell madly in love with Jesus. I asked Him to find me my church. I didn't know where to go. All I wanted was as much of Jesus as I could get, and to be as close to Him as I could get. He led me to the Catholic Church. I started attending Daily Mass long before I was received into the Church (which was in 1991). Later in 1990, I started RCIA, plus I joined an "adult Catechism class" taught by a wonderful old Irish priest. I prayed with the rosary group, went to Adoration Chapels. I was like a dry sponge, soaking up everything the Lord wanted to give me. I've been Catholic now for over thirty years, and I'm still in love with Jesus, I love the Church He founded, I love the Pope, I am so grateful to be Catholic. I thank God every day for my Catholic Faith.

If I am to profess the first 7 ecumenical councils, if I accept Christ's Church as the one davidic kingdom and Christ's bride, then I can only accept Catholicism. I am sorry to read that your family gave up being Jewish. However, you are right: Jesus meant it 100% literally (none of this symbolism business!) that his followers were to eat his flesh and drink his blood. The Jewish people who witnessed this teaching were disgusted by it and left; if he meant it only symbolically, he would have called them back to clarify the teaching.

First and foremost, I pray that all those who genuinely seek God find Him through Christ, and that all those who genuinely love and seek Christ find their way to the Holy, Apostolic Church. That we may all be one, as He and the Father are one. Amen. 🙏🏼 After much deep research and contemplation, following the roots of the church in the Apostolic writings and Apostolic Fathers, as well with apostolic succession, the Lord led me to realize that the truth is most closely contained in the apostolic churches: Catholicism and Holy Orthodoxy. I believe those two are closest to the original faith… but I had to make a choice. Indeed, the scriptural and historic basis of Petrine primacy tipped the scales toward the Catholic Church for me, as well as that in my country there are only Catholic Churches, and no Orthodox ones. Choosing the Catholic faith bridges authenticity and genuineness in Christ with practical, communal love and presence. Nonetheless I love Holy Orthodoxy as it has produced brilliant Saints and genuine disciples of Christ as well. I pray the Lord may lead us to be reunited with one another into one harmonious body. Thank you brother. Your witness and testimony was another stone that cemented my faith 🙏🏼

As a Anglican i'd be happy if Catholicism and Anglicanism re-inter in communion and resolve issues for Anglicanism is Via-Media. It's similar to midpoint between Catholics and general Protestants. Because im a monarchist but i do respect the seat of Saint Peter. The Protestant reformation was necessary but i think Catholicism resolved their issues. There's reasons I'm Anglicanism, it's a umbrella denomination for the more reformed Protestant members and structures and more catholic (lowercase not denominational but universal C) Episcopal bishopric structure. It'd be great if Anglicanism becomes a English rite of Catholicism instead of Latin (roman) rite. Like the Chaldean, Maronite, Armenian, Byzantine and Alexandrian rites of Catholicism. Since im not compromising of my beliefs since there's biblical reasons of being a monarchist im still interested in Anglican integrity. But i love Catholicism and this video and would love my denomination and your denomination to have ecumenical resolutions for reconciliation. Also institutional Christ unity is greater for the kingdom of God to show unity in the kingdom of God, Than if i were to just be a individual convert to Catholicism. So I'll stay Anglican but happily read Catholic sources and respect Catholic doctrines on most things agreeable.

I know that there are Anglican groups that have already joined in communion with the Catholic Church and they has a quasi-rite. I know there is a sizable group in Texas, USA. That’s about as much as I know im that regard but I pray for unity.

@@TheJewishCatholic it's better for ecumenical unity in reconciliation than merely individual conversion. I love Anglicanism and Catholicism. I won't leave my community for Catholicism but I believe it's better for the institutions to call for Christ and the collective. Than the individual confession of the Christian faith. Because I'll say it. The protestant reformation was necessarily for its century. But the Catholic Church has reformed enough to satisfy the reformation. The Anglican reformation can end now and be apart of Catholicism as a rite. God has kings appointed but he also appointed Saint Peter so the papacy is a position I respect. I'm for ecumenical reconciliation amen

I would become catholic today if it was not such a lengthy process.. St. Paul went from a man who "through pain caused them to blaspheme God" to a baptized Christian in less than a month. But I have to go through a year of classes
@TheJewishCatholic6 ай бұрын
The process of catechesis is important because the point is to help you understand what the Faith is, how to live it out, it’s a time to ask questions, it’s a time to ensure you know what you are getting yourself into. To make sure, for your sake that you are willing to take up your cross and follow Christ. Doesn’t always take a year, that is just the standard to take someone that knows almost nothing about the Faith to someone who is ready to live and die for Christ. Go through the process. Come home. The Church awaits.

Saint Paul was uniquely called as he received a personal revelation from Christ to become an Apóstol. For ancient Christians being a catechumen could take 3 years of gradual entrance if I remember correctly

I am Catholic, but have this question of the five fold ministries pushed by the protestant churches, where there are the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors, Teachers all written by Paul to the Corinthians. Where does that apply for Catholics.

We asked, "Why must Jesus be divine?" By this we meant to ask why a Christian believes so. If the question is asked without reference to the foregoing discussion, a Christian will answer that Jesus must be divine if his death is to be sufficient atonement for the sins of mankind. In the Christian scheme of redemption, it is held that sacrificial death was necessary that men might be saved. Ask why the death of any man would be insufficient and the Christian replies that all men are imperfect. Ask why they are imperfect and we are told that this is an inheritance from our fathers. Jesus had no father. By their own scheme he would have been an unblemished sacrificial victim. Nevertheless, they still require that he be divine to suit the role of redeemer. So we ask, "Did God die?" He quickly replies, "No, only the man Jesus died." Jesus is said to be a God-man and it was the human component that died. But now he has said that the death of a man has atoned for sin. The Infinite is required for this ritual of sacrifice but the Infinite is not actually sacrificed.

To worship anyone other than God is heresy. The Church, of course, condemns this. We see Mary in the same pattern that all mothers in Hebraic monarchy were viewed: as the Queen Mothers. And as the mother of the King, she is Queen and deserving of honor and veneration. “And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant. For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed;” Luke 1:30-33, 46-48

@@youmusttakecareofyourselfCatholics have an inclusive BOTH/AND philosophy so whilst we only worship God, we do venerate His mother as a very special person, no Mary, no Jesus. Mary is the New Eve, Ark of the New Covenant, Mother of God, which if you deny, you are denying His divinity, Queen of Heaven (type of Esther) & the Woman of Rev 12 True Marian devotion brings us closer to her son, to which I personally attest!

The jews who still follow Judaism are still prisoned in the old tradition/ritual of worshipping God the Father.
@crónicasmesiánicas57773 ай бұрын
You, as a jew should know that, rabinic judaism is base in the rabinic traditions teachings and the Two Laws. Moses writen Law (Tora) and the Oral Law (Sh´be al Pej). Catholisism is a "carbon copy" of judaism. The karaite jews denied the Oral Law(Oral Tradition).

Paz y bien.
