Get the one you like most and get the pedal of the other. Not sure why they haven't yet included the crossover. It's like UAD... Only releasing a little egg at a time. I say go all out already! 😂 I don't play bass in band now, so to really grab me it's gotta be all the way. I keep waiting to buy UAD and... I never end up buying it because a new one comes out all the time... And I don't wanna keep buying stuff endlessly. Anyhow.. The A/O ultra pedal works for me in my axefx set-up. I can route the rest. I might do better with a matrix power amp because then I can use it for guitar too. Right now, I'm using Atomic Clr Neoo MKII, but I'm not so sure it's great for bass tuned to the lowest depths known to man.

I’m an M900 owner, and I can say without any doubt that you missed the opportunity to add the only thing that really, REALLY, was missing on this beautiful and powerful head, a separate volume knob for the DI output, that’s all. But anyway thank you for this new little wonder, cheers.

What would the purpose for that be? It would just be Line level and can then be boosted with a discrete preamp by the engineer or on an interface of necessary

Jobe Lewis normally, or in a good club with good gear yes, but I played in situations where yes, the engineer was forced to do it but while level up my output it also loudened some white noise and the result was poor, and with a direct volume control for the DI you can avoid this.
