mini story time So I was chillin in this one server. A few days before the Ice Wings came out i think. I had accidentally disturbed this little group of people who were privately role-playing. I was still a fresh to the game, trying to figure things out and all. I had gotten stuck in the ground and basically slide through the ground to the group. Said hello and I cracked a joke about it. 'Yep, this is how the laws of physics works.' and then told them that in all seriousness, I was sorry for intruding on there little roleplay. They told me it was fine and asked if maybe I wanted to join. They taught me the controls, and how to do this and that in the game since I knew how to roleplay already. Eventually I had to leave, but a few of them sent friend invites. I made a few nice friends that day.

the way some people react to oc theft is straight out toxic. telling a person to die will not help the circumstance in any way. it's upsetting to see how people react to this topic, but i think we should all agree that asking someone "hey, is that oc yours?" or "hey, that oc looks similar to [name here]'s oc." is a _much_ better approach to this than just shouting "DIE!" until they leave. the community needs to learn that word, do infact, hurt, no matter how strong or weak you are.

Yesterday I was just hanging out, doing nothing on wof as my rainwing oc, Glamour, and a random person comes up to me and is like, “I love your oc!” I was using color theory like you suggested in your color guide video, and they told me they really liked it. Then they said “just a little dose of oc love” and left the game. Once I was rping in WoF and I could tell someone was sad in real life even when they were just pretending because they joined a rp on the wall and it was like a school rp and the person was a student and the host was like " ok your going to be the kid that gets in trouble for no reason " and that person had to sit in the corner of the " principals office " for the whole rp! The person was just watching everyone else have fun and rp! Isn't that horrible! Eventually they left but I knew they didn't like it. This was very mean of the host.

This is so sweet. I totally agree with you. The biggest problem I think we face today is queen role players and not communicating. The other day, I was on a server, and I saw a throne room full of people. I was ready to just avoid the drama and move on, but then I looked in, and I realized that guards were going up to everyone, and asking them to Vote for a queen. And once the queen won, the other one left. It was so organized. I wish all servers could be like this. But I feel like they are starting to. Ever since your video on different spots to role play, a lot of the throne rooms have been empty. Only some have Organized role players. Ever day on the servers I try to go find a throne room that is empty, (I don’t do this with full ones) and I Bow to Ruby. I say, “All hail Ruby!!” And pretty soon, people join me. If we can encourage people to either not cause drama or just support the npc, it would bring us to a brighter future. From my experience, at first, people start freaking out and want to go attack roleplayers, but I’m able to convince them to do this protest peacefully :). Thanks for reading this. I loved the video and I feel like if we do this together, we can make our servers a beautiful place full of an amazing community.

For this story I need to ask, was I being the rude one? Anyway, this is how it goes. Sand'wing was just released, everyone was hyped. I joined a very popular sand'wing rp, and I was lucky enough to get an exclusive role. It didn't say in the post where to meet, so I was looking around that map for a few minutes, asking in the chat to help. Finally, someone told me and I went there, I told them my role, and apparently in that span of a about 5 minutes (?) I was already replaced. As soon a I said that, the replacement and the host said (in a kinda rude way) that they had that role. I tried to calmly explain my situation, and asked kindly for my role back. They kept shooting me down, untill the host just said "Shut up and sit down, you're going to be (the basic, unlimited role)." And that kinda hurt. So I obliged, still a little upset. They said, say "I" if you're (the unlimited role) Now on my part, I should've said "I". But I didn't, thinking the host would already know I was (the U role). The host went beserk on me, yelling at me, saying he was tired of my crap and that I should just leave the rp and never come back. Nobody defended me. I was hurt, but didn't say anything and followed orders, not wanting to stir up any drama. A sand'wing approached, asking if they could join. The dude just sat down, and the host WENT OFF about "how they sat down without giving them a chance to answer" and the dude was getting pummeled, so I stood up for the guy. Most of the other dudes told me to sit down and "stop". I eventually left, because I was getting so annoyed. Am I in the wrong? I just want to know because this incident had been forever bugging me.

Thank you for this, Bella. I’m glad somebody finally addressed this. Sometimes people take oc theft way too personally. I have anger issues I’ve things likes this, but a simple video like this helped me realize, even more so, that it’s it’s not worth chasing them around the map, yelling at them, cursing at them, and telling them to die, of all things. Sometimes the roblox community, and wof community can be so toxic. Just report them, show them kindness, and ask them nicely to stop. Telling somebody to die, over something that could be resolved with a simple report, is not good, and not valid. I don’t want to try and count how many times I’ve been told to die, or that they wouldn’t care if I died. I’ve gotten used to it, but it leaves such a big impact. It’s not okay. Not ever. Let’s hope this video will help. I’m pretty sure that Sandwing wasn’t sorry that he did that, he was sorry that he got caught.

Things like this stick with you forever. I remember 4 or 5 years ago I used to love this game called Animal jam. I was a kid and there was this mini game where everyone collected gems and if you got all the gems everyone would get a prize. (Keep in mind everyone was working together to get all the gems) and I picked up a purple gem and this girl started screaming at me. I was confused because we were all working together but she said I ‘stole’ the gem from her. I didn’t know what to do so I just kept looking for gems. After she had sent me a bunch of messages telling me to kill myself and that my parents didn’t raise me right and that I didn’t deserve to live. I tried to message her but she blocked me. I cried for days, and I still remember exactly what she said to me. Please don’t say things like this to others, it really hurts.

Hunter hit me hard. When I was a little more immature and innocent, I went into a game and tried to join people’s role plays. Keep in mind I was VERY new to the Wings Of Fire community and made a very... “stunning,” if you know what I mean.. OC. Exactly like a troll. I had no grammar at the time and just wanted to role play. They all said stuff like “bruh lol look at This dumb person” and, “shut up.” And sometimes they just ignored me. I felt terrible. I cried because I thought I was what they said I was. They judged me over an OC and grammar. Never do that. If someone is intentionally trolling you and you can tell they’re trolling, just ignore them.. but please be cautious of who and how you talk to.

One time I was role playing with a group of SeaWings, and I flew up to the palace and saw someone named, “Queen Rainbow of the CloudWings”. I tried to ignore it, but later they came back with... a whole army of CloudWings, trying to go to war with the SkyWings. Me and the other SeaWings approached them trying to tell them that, they were breaking many rules, but they wouldn’t listen and then tried to declare war on the SeaWings. We decided that, there’s no way they’re gonna stop, so we just told them kindly to check out the book series, and we gave them tips on role playing. And that worked! They all left and, I think about a week later, I saw them all again but with genuine OCs. Being kind does work.

But I used to be that time of person who had anger issues and just said things without realizing. I learned how to stop, and and whenever I see something like this it just makes me remember so easily when I would just bully people. And I am very sensitive, too, I cry so easily, and I would take out my anger on other people without realizing. It just hurts me and makes me cry when I see things like this. I don’t want you to get mad at me, either, but still, you might make her feel bad, because what if she had issues? I had issues, and I know what it feels like. So please don’t judge her like that, I actually cried reading your message, because it makes me feel horrible to be a human being. I was bullied a lot, when I was really young, because of how sensitive I was. And whenever I didn’t understand something, like in school, the teachers would call me stupid for not understanding, and the other kids would laugh at me. One time, I tried playing with a boy, and my only other friend said, “girls aren’t supposed to play with boys,” and she made me stop playing with him, I cried, and she called me a crybaby and told the whole class. I'm an older player on WoF, sort of, and am really impatient when it comes to kids who want attention or stuff like that; whereas Bella went out of her way, sacrificing her time and a spot in a thumbnail, to end some drama, and spend time with this kid. This is usually why I avoid the castle. It is so FULL of these kinds of people. Its so strange. I often come on this amazing game for fun roleplaying. But I know I have a amazingly big chance of finding a roleplay, but it could get rude, mean or even TOXIC. The queens are mean, the guards are rude, and the list go's on. Everyone should be kind, EVEN IN A GAME. I had problems in the game... i was just lonely and angry. I was kinda rude to people i was just sitting on the throne and saying ''Everyone is bad'' and then ''i hate you all''. Then someone said to me that i don't need to be like this, and she friended me... then we were talking to each other and i felt better. You're right, people just need someone they can talk with if they are sad, lonely, or angry.

I have a story. Today I was just sitting and then this rude icewing named Avalanche came up to me and started insulting my character design saying "look like acid". Then when I confronted him he said "ha ur a horrible Roleplayer to" etc. Please people if you have something mean to say about someone's oc, just keep it to yourself! Then I joined the same server as an icewing named Flake, and Avalanche did not say a thing! People need to stop harassing others for their character design!

I cried over this video, I remember once I was in a game and there was a Queen RPer so I went over and I saw all these people fighting; like not in game like actually fighting.. so I decided to go and as I went away I looked in chat and people were asking her/him to leave so I went back and I told her "I like your OC" she said thanks and some people left her alone and I turned around and I told them that it's a game and there are the same spots in other servers and if you don't want to leave feel free to RP as you do with others cause fighting over something this small is immature They said sorry some left and others joined other RPs and some even joined the Queen RP, I also joined and we had a great time! It's kind of sad to see that some people have not changed this was back before the update that Queen RPer came to me at one point telling me they're leaving the WOF community and I asked why and they said it was cause people were always telling her things like "Die" "Go away" and people were trolling her and she said she had enough, so sadly she left we are still friends. When it comes to OC stealing and Burn was told to "Die." That hurts me to see we still have not changed. Please do be kind and don't bully those you may not like just leave and join a new server or just walk away and RP somewhere else.

I'm glad you said this message. Some of us play the game but weren't there to see it. (E.G 3 days ago I logged out of my account trying to figure out my password to change it, now we need to "ticket support" or whatever my mom said.) The fact they harassed her though is weird and says "assumptions" all over. Her name wasn't even Rafflesia, it was Hibiscus. Players use similiar looks all the time and it just means they jumped to conclusions way to fast. That's insane they were that awful. Especially because I've known that game as probably the kindest RPG I have ever played because it's so easy to make friends and have a nice chat or roleplay. That is just insane how hostile they went.

This moved me to tears. I try so hard in any game to include everyone. Someone sitting alone? Bring the group I was roleplaying with over to try to include them, or at least give them a chance to jump in. One time, on a server, there were three Strawberry’s, which is my oc sometimes in Roblox, and I shouted, “Strawberry fan club!” And we all did a Strawberry role play together. It was amazing, but also kind of confusing... as you can probably guess

Telling people to die is way more serious than it sounds. Somebody in another fandom I am in recently took their own life away. It’s not a joke, and telling people to die can lead to things like that. You don’t know what another person is going through. If you see somebody online or in real life feeling down, you should go see if they are OK and if they need anything. Being kind CAN save lives.

This may have been a year ago, but something similar happened to me. I have a RainWing oc, Iro, male. A darker blue and paler orange than vitality’s colors, even white socks and teal fading. Nothing like Bella’s main oc. And I was in a fashion show, when I revealed my colors someone went wild on me for “Stealing vitality” when iro looks very, very different. The rest of the players stood by me, in my defense. I’m very thankful, and the person just keep going on about it, calling me a copycat, jerk, ect. Eventually they went off to check, haven’t seen them sense and I hope I don’t again.

This community has some really toxic people, me and a friend were hosting an rp, and someone in chat was trying to gather an army to swarm a queen roleplayer, I don’t have discord so I told them that it pretty much counts as disturbing an rp, but they said that the devs didn’t like queen role players either, so it was allowed. I explained that even though the devs weren’t the biggest fans, that doesn’t mean you can go ahead and ruin someone’s rp. They kept trying to gather an army.. *but nobody showed up*

Bro why did the last part hit so hard for me (( 5:36 )) , I relate. I am always someone who just sits in the arena, wanting to just talk about the books, talk about favourite characters, etc. I don't really like roleplaying with people who I don't really know, it makes me REALLY anxious, and I feel like I might do something wrong, ya know? I just wish there was a teleport area for people who just want to talk, to bad that this Wings of Fire game on Roblox is the best one and the only one people play. One time I saw a group of people trolling in the throne room. There were so many people who wanted to roleplay there and they were just telling people to be a pale white icewing. I confronted them saying "please troll somewhere else because this is where a lot of people want to roleplay" soon enough the leader of the group accused me of bullying her and saying I was better than her? She told me she was gonna call an admin. I didnt really care because at least I had proof I wasn't doing anything wrong. The funny part is that she was straight up calling me a "b" so that is technically name calling which is bullying, and might I say that disrupting roleplay is against the rules too? So, i used to an oc named shrimp apparently sea-rain they were inspired by vitality, i really liked them but my fear of getting attacked (cuz the colours did looked much alike) kept me from using them. And so i go in a game in the throne room and someone says something about that oc and vitality i think it was about stealing or something like that, i said the whole thing and they still talked i said that there was a part (the biggest ) saying that credits go to bella and such such, after that i deleted them and never dared to remake them :'D. Edit: i just wanted to tell it idk if you cared or not
