OH. THIS. I LIKE THIS. Okay, like, Jeremy's face as he says his lines at the beginning? Like he knows them to be "fact", and the squips just confirming it? Like I'm crying but that's so good? The way he reaches for the squip once it says it can "fix" him? Like the squip is his savior? The brief hesitation before it pulls him along? AMAZING. The visions of everyone singing to him? CHRISTINE?! That almost made me cry again. The childlike excitement? Hes so excited and it makes you realize that hes really just a kid who wants to be liked and oH MY GOD! (I'm sure you can tell which protection squad I'm apart of) HE TAKES THE BACKPACK WITH HIM. I REPEAT. HE TAKES THE BACKPACK WITH HIM. I was so scared he was going to leave it behind but it really shows that he still has all good intentions. People dont give up on their favorite people so easy. All in all, this added 10 years to my life and I really hope you'll do more bmc animatics (no pressure though!)

AHH THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! everytime I listen to this song I just imagine a lot a very manipulative behavior of squip to Jeremy who is only a child and he just believes in everything they say (and because is a computer of course, but also because I think Jeremy sees him as a tutor/saviour figure) he is desperate so he listens to squip, but jeremy does not leave the backpack behind because, I think, that decision is completed in the song "upgrade ". I'm so.glad you liked the animatic!!!! It truely means a lot!!! It was a work for college so it makes me to happy to see all your positive responses TvT💕💖💕💖💕

There are countless, from things such as Jeremy’s eyes filling with hurt as he says the word ‘terrible’ and ‘die’, to when the SQUIP reaches out his hand to Jeremy, Jeremy hesitates and the SQUIP pulls him forward by the arm anyways…

There are so many amazing things about this animatic,,, like the way the blur is focus is used to focus on the squip’s hand, and how it puts the focus on Christine and how he kinda floats down, plus Jeremy looking at his backpack before joining the squip :(( Jeremy just looks so sad at the beginning and then he gets super starry eyed like awwww!
