Well, since I wrote that comment, I ended up listening to all the RWBY soundtracks, and because I liked Jeff Williams's music so much, I had to watch all 8 seasons of RWBY too. 😂 I'm glad I did, because they were awesome - particularly the later seasons. It was all because of Jeffs songwriting, it's so impressive.. even among Prog Metal bands, it's rare to hear bands that compose so beautifully and intelligently. I wasn't surprised to learn that Jeff is a music teacher at Berklee; the way in which he modulates keys is otherworldly. I was sad to see so many people complimenting the singing but failing to recognise the person writing the music that arranges and stitches it all together.

I distinctly remember going to an anime convention in Hartford where they had escalators that go really high. I'm terrified of heights, so when I would go up the escalators, I would whisper to myself "be strong and hit stuff" and it helped me get upstairs. Funnily enough, the convention was held in Connecticut, and the state's abbreviation calls to mind a character from Red vs Blue who has the same VA as Nora. I didn't make that connection at the time, though 😅

Isn't this the ironwood fight song? Because for a song that says mistakes will stay in the past shouldn't be playing while we watch several characters that should be allies fighting because of several mistakes that they have made in the distant & recent past.

I will say this... I don't like the placement of the song either but for a different reason... For a Nora song, Nora was BARELY a part of the fight and ALL she did was one ok-good hit. It seems like a waste of a good track that could have went to a better fight OR had Nora involved more in the Ironwood fight.

@@Demonfoxgirl2459 The problem though is that "Be Strong and Hit Stuff" line only applies to two characters in the fight. Ironwood and Nora. I believed for a long time, that it was Team RWBY's (albeit pretentious) message of "you're not beyond redemption". Almost as if they subconsciously knew what Ironwood was truly trying to do. Even in Ironwood's crazy state, he did things to "protect what he can". Sometimes your heart can twist and distort yourself where you forget the meaning of where your beliefs come from. But the tune itself doesn't seem in line with Ironwood until the very end.
