We bought a 1960s fully furnished Oregon fisherman's beach cabin! A retro time capsule with beautiful tongue and groove beamed ceilings and stunning Pacific Ocean views. Join us as we demo and remodel this vintage tiny cabin to create our dream Pacific Northwest retreat.
A lot going on this week! The ultimate pre-primed wall paneling goes up, and we get a new shower that's perfect for a tiny house! We try our hand at harvesting barnacles from the rocks for dinner and enjoy a PNW beach storm.

Selena, I have followed you for several months now. I only recently learned that you had breast cancer at one time. I went back and watched some of the videos from that time. You exemplify strength and resilience in the best way. I've never had cancer, but I lost my daughter to a drunk driver many years ago. Even though I wanted to die, I knew life would get better and it did. It makes me happy to see the joy you and Pete share because it is a choice to be happy after tragedy. Agree remember mom saying feet want be cold and also the drop ceiling in bathroom ment no vent fans to take moisture away from that wood on the ceiling. The fact you can chemically seal it came later. Some wood cedars especially will drop sap with different climates .

I have been a very emotional person my whole entire life. 66 years to be exact. I cry numerous times a day. Did you or Pete toss around the idea of adding a small window on each side of the ceiling in the bathroom for natural light in that space. I think that would have been awesomely awesome. Great job !! Funny hickory shirt story… we lived in Astoria and were going to the zoo… my husband came out in a wrinkled torn hickory shirt !! I said nooooooooo… he said well I am wearing it!!!
