My mom made toast in the oven using the broiler. She would use stick butter and put pats of butter on the bread. Then put the bread on a cookie sheet and broil it. Watch it closely so it doesn't burn. It is so good because the butter melts into the bread rather than being spread on dry toast from the toaster. I love the bedroom paneling and I am excited to see the finished product.

I know how you feel. I lost my husband of 38 yrs. (45+ yrs. together) and this video made me miss him so much. It will be 4 yrs. gone on Feb. 24th. It does make me happy to see how in love Pete and Selena are and the wonderful pieces of their life that they share with us. Those sea caves were fascinating with all the ocean creatures. Back in the late 60’s and early ‘70’s I lived in Portland and we loved spending a day at the ocean. I have a photo that my brother took of me close to this beach the weekend he came home from Vietnam in 1969. Memories.

To me this is one of your most romantic videos….it is so intimate and organic. The way Pete tenderly hugs you is so sweet and pure joy to watch. The cave took by breath away. My husband grew up in Corbett, Oregon and every weekend in the summers his father would take the family to Pacific City to go salmon fishing. They would load up the camper and the dory and head for the coast. He tells me they caught so much salmon it was practically coming out their ears! Of course, those days are gone for salmon fishing there, but it's still very beautiful. I was so proud of myself for climbing to the top of Cape Kiwanda! I'm so happy for you and Pete to have your cabin at the coast. Enjoy every minute of it! ❤️

You can truly see and feel the love you have for each other it's so refreshing to see ,i love the Oregon Coast we lived in Sam's Valley for 27 years and loved that Coast as much as our home in the small valley we lived in just outside Gold Hill ,I truly miss the old homestead we had roughly 9 acres, we moved to a small town in Ohio with small 1950's homes on small lots , our daughter and grandson's here ,she's the youngest of the kids and her son is her only child and she's the only girl, so she moved here and ,well you know we didn't want to be so far away and miss out on a life with our last youngest grandson ,we have missed Oregon but we love them more, plus we have film and pictures of that beautiful hill we live on , so wow that was a lot of information 😁 your story just took me back there "wow" there is no othere coast like her ,and the beautiful Rouge River she also has my heart ,were happy here now and a new chapter begins, thank you for your beautiful videos of that majestic coast ,love is the key, always 💞
