Thumbs up for the left hand side reel setup 👌 this is the best way to fish for right handers. Use your stronger arm ( right ) to do the pulling and weaker arm ( left ) to do the reeling, that's the most logical way.

Preload the rod prior to casting. Bring it forward and back fast enough so it bends back and then cast forward as hard as you can. You'll cast MUCH further.

Hi Josh. We in South Africa do a lot of shark fishing. One problem I have is that I get jumped off a lot by Blacktips. What tip can you give me to have a better chance to land a blacktip when they start jumping. Big fan of your show.

Try using circle hooks with consistent drag pressure. Also make sure your hooks are very sharp. Use a steel file if you need to.
