So informative! Thank you for sharing the different beaches, love the less public ones personally but appreciate the idea of semi public beaches too. As beaches are part of nature, they should be free to all but equally private beaches has a place too for people who can afford and want a well managed beach. The waves behind where you were seated are amazing and very inviting. Princess Abisola is growing up right in front of our eyes. appreciate and Love your content and can’t wait for more. 😊🙏🏾🖤🖤

Yeap very true nature is part of us and why should we pay to access it, most unfortunately we live in a capitalist world where the idea of the rich exploiting the poor rules. Also Africa is called a third world, because some people want it to be like the West, unfortunately these are some of the consequences of not creating development’s specific to us. We deem copying and pasting everything white people do development, which is often contrary to who we are. The untapped public beaches are very nice as they are so natural. Thanks you so much for your valuable input

There are other beaches along the Lekki peninsula axis as well such as Baracudda beach,L. Lacampaigne tropicana, Alfa beach, Atican beach, Jara beach resort, others around Lagos are the Ilashe beach, Light house beach, Takwa bay, Suntan beach etc. Great family, more blessings💚

Nigeria needs to go the way of Portugal and not the US or Jamaica. In Portugal while businesses can build beach front bars, restaurants, accommodation and sporting activities all the beaches are accessible to ALL. And that's why in Jamaica I was reading that some members of the Marley family have started a campaign to make Jamaican beaches accessible to ALL Jamaicans. Great video by the way. As a beach loafer I like the quite less developed beaches like the one you're in and there are quite a few virtually undeveloped beaches in Badagry. And the added advantage of Badagry is it's close to Benin Republic and Togo which I visit often and they have many great beaches there. And as for Atican Beach it's great in that if you need the music, food and people watching you stay near the entrance but if you need some peace and quiet and just watching the waves you simply stroll a bit further and you've literally got the beach to yourself. How's Epe and what things could one do on a long weekend in Epe. Perhaps you could do a video on that.

Thanks so much for your comment We like the Portugal version it is much more inclusive, we send positive energy to the Marley family to aid them in their quest. Ok we will do more on Epe as it is where we intend to settle

Interesting topic. iId like to add that the stretch of coastline from lagos to the south have some of the most pristine, untouched beaches in Africa. All the states along the coastline have beaches. Thanks for sharing.

Exactly I've been to beaches in Ondo State and in Uyo and on weekdays you literally have the beach to yourself. Nigeria is blessed with beaches which could be creating employment for young people

Thanks so much Tumi Yes we will be pleased to go there, I am sure Princess Abisola and Princess Ayomide will have a good time at the beach. But the one we are sitting is close to the house so we can go there as often as we want.

Fantastic episode, fam! Well done! That ponmo dish made my mouth water o 😂. Aside that, I enjoyed learning about the various beaches, especially in Gambia, through your experiences. Also understand the need to keep beaches as natural as possible but I am with my aburo about Sol beach in Lagos (you know we Adeles love our luxuries. lol). Sad thing about Landmark beach. Hope they can find new employment for the staff. Glad that we got to experience it together while I was at home. Keep the videos coming! 🤗

Very nice backdrop and review, folks The monetization is somewhat annoying as you know most of our Sundays were spent going to Bar Beach was a big deal and Lekki which is now all built up 😔 We need a Part 11 For Badagry Beach growing up, I was taken aback by the huge waves and has some history to it..Slavery

Thanks so much for your comment, unfortunately we live in a capitalist world. We should strive to create developments specific to us and stop copying and pasting other people’s idea.
