The slab mold cutter is phenomenal!!! That's my dream! It's on my wishlist! Maybe next year I can make it happen!

Dang! You're one busy woman! Says a lot about the pride you take in your work that you pack so well. I recall beaming at some eBay f/b I got once, "Best-packed box I've ever gotten from eBay".

So happy to see a video from you again! You make the loveliest swirls ever. I share your OCD with soaps. :-) I'm forever lining them up properly so they're flush. Thanks too for showing your packaging work - no one ever does that. I see too that you've gone to boxes instead of shrink bands. Looks lovely! I'm flirting with that myself, but need to find a good price to make it worthwhile.
@petalsbathboutique7 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I get my boxes from WSP. I personally haven't found a better price here in the states yet. I try to save by buying them 500 at a time.
@hartlecut7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the reply and the info. ❤️ WSP has a number of products that I'm interested in, but since I'm in Canada, and WSP won't give even an estimate for shipping to me (they want international customers to agree to be responsible for whatever shipping they decide to charge - kind of like a blank cheque), I don't order from them. That's my problem though. But YOUR packaging looks lovely, and very professional - congratulations. I do enjoy every one of your videos. Happy soaping!

@petalsbathboutique7 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I actually already own 2 multi bar cutters in 2 different wire widths. Unfortunately since I've decided to make the bars shorter and thicker, neither of those cutters are useful to me. At some point this year I'll be getting another for my current bar sizes :0)

I watch your video's a lot and love your soaps. You cutter where did you get it? Did someone make that for you ? I haven't seen one that cuts loaves like that. I love it. Your soaps are beautiful. I should comment more, but I do watch them all the time.
@petalsbathboutique2 жыл бұрын
I'm so sorry that I'm just seeing your question. In case you're still in search of a cutter, I purchased both my cutter and log-splitter from ForCraftsSake.com. They were both custom. Thank you for watching!

i love tge sizes of your soaps! where did you get your wooden mold that held two different soaps?!
@petalsbathboutique7 жыл бұрын
Hubby made them. We deciding on the measurements, went to the Home Depot to purchase the wood; they cut it for us right there in the store, then came home and glued them together. He left one side off and I held it in place with tape or a bungee cord.

I don't use one specific brand and just grab some at whichever supplier I'm ready placing an order with. TKB Trading, Natures Garden, WSP...any of them will work :-)

hey,can you tell me what are you using for the different colours?I get it with the basic,but i cant understand how i can make yellow,red,orange,you know - the colours ? Thanky in advance ( :
@petalsbathboutique7 жыл бұрын
I don't actually make the colors. I blend different types of colors to prevent fading. So the yellow is usually a combination of yellow mica, yellow oxide, neon yellow pigment and either a touch of orange oxide or neon orange pigment. There are no exact measurements, I just keep adding a bit of this and that until I like what I see :0)
