It’s a stormy, rainy day here in Staten Island, USA….the remnants of hurricane Ian. I always enjoy the sound of your voice & the natural sounds of your 3 acres. I am a bit older than you & pray for your good health to continue your work, living your life and enjoying it!

Love your channel. Your cooking potatoes reminded me of visiting my grandmother on her little farm in the Catskills of upstate New York when I was a child (some 60 years ago). She would also cook whole unpeeled onions in tin foil and spoon it out over the potatoes. I remember sometimes she would do a cored unpeeled apple stuffed with brown sugar in tin foil and a dish she called "Gypsy chicken" which if you omit the obvious meat would be potatoes, onion, carrot, rutabaga, and parsnip all roasted in tin foil. There is nothing like food cooked in embers. You brought back a lot of good memories today. Thank you.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean about the baked potatoes on the coals of a fire 🔥 😋 👌 yummy food. Thanks Collette for sharing this wonderful walk through the wood land garden. I am very fond of the fall season and the celebration of the harvest. The stone circle is very beautiful and calming. It doesn't sound strange that you wished things into existence. You are here now with the flow of energies in honoring life and nurturing life with loving focus. ❤ Blessings to you and to all of us in this world 🌎 🙏 ✨ ❤ 💛 🦄🦋👣✌

That's exactly how my Dad used to cook them, especially if we had a bonfire going in the garden. Best baked potatoes I've ever had. Thanks for the memories, Colette ❤️ I have to say that your stone circle is transforming. It's amazing to me how plants seem to know the importance of certain things and have grown to protect it. Really, your garden is a feast for the senses xox

Thank you so much for the tour at both the cottage and the park. Your videos make me heart yearn to visit the west of Ireland. And saying you wished the ferns into existence doesn’t sound silly at all. You have captured magic in those 3 acres and I do believe anything is possible.

Dear Colette , Blessed was the day I found your vlog on Bealtaine Cottage, Oh the spuds on the fire to roast , I do often roast my potatoes in my oven I had a wee chuckle when you mention , a wee spit on the fire 🔥 to put out the flame As an Irish family of emigrants , one Christmas my husband gifted me with a small Replica Victorian Electric fire place , we only ever used it to get to the flame without Using the heat , my husband loved his rum and coke, so we lived in a little cottage home with Beams on the ceiling , Desmond would stumble down the hall to the bedroom each night Stop along the way to the corner where the wee grate was, he would bend down for the switch To turn off the flame , with these words , swear on my life : a spit on the flame to put out the fire Today I am a widow , I remember all the quirkiness of this very old fashioned man of mine Also Colette as you took the walk to the stone circle , I felt the Ancestor’s at my back With Gratitude, Mary Canada 🍁

I have to make me some tomorrow. So good. I love the stone circle, so very beautiful. So serene, everything in it's perfect place. I live on 10 wooded acres and I have seen so many ideas in this video for my land. You have so many fruit and nut trees, plants, shrubs. So beautiful. It's like a fairytale land. Heavenly.

OH MY DEAR!!!!!! Fabulous walk around. It doesnt sound at all silly that yu willed the ferns into existence. I did that with a Red Cherokee Chief Dogwood just this past spring. I wanted a pink on or a red one. One of my spirit guides is a Potawatomi Chief from here in Michigan in the USA. The short version f the whole--he gave me a little nudge back down a row of pallets i had been several times. There, in the middle of a bunch of Maples was the Red Dogwood. Manifestation comes with the Pyrenees of love and heart and thought. Blessings and Light coming yur way.

I feel so close to you now Colette. Our birthdays are coming up! I woke up today on the edge of a city I don't want to live in anymore. I long for my people /group that has yet to show up. I'm open to anything! I have 6 precious cats from 14 down to 3 or 4. All rescues. I create little places for them with fleece throws and blankets. They are inside of course. I love them so much! I have no grandchildren or kids of my own. I am lonely and scared which is the human condition currently. I'm ready to stop watching the news and find my people where I am now! I love and respect you with all of my heart.

After having been convinced by the media that "there's not enough!" (Of any or everything!) or having frightened themselves into believing that all by themselves, people really need to have a look at the beautiful bounty of that dish of potatoes. Lovely. There IS enough! Mother Nature has supplied us with what we need -- and more . We have only to trust her. All that anger and fear... that was wasted energy. You never bought into that. Even during the worst of the pandemic, you didn't accept the scarcity panic that people were trying to sell. (And "sell" is indeed the operative word.) And I believe you never will buy into that. That's one of the many character traits that you bring to the world because the world needs it so badly. Bless you and thank you!

Your pots looked sooo delicious. I love crispy skins on them, if only I had a stove, but hey ho! I am very lucky with what I do have, and am very thankful for it all. I too love mushrooms on toast, scrummy! Love our walk through your woods with you, and the dingle dangle sound of your fairy wind chimes. I love all your crystals, and bits and bobs you have around the stone circle, and around your woodland. Love the old bike parked against a tree! How wonderful that you have a Badger's set, so precious. I look forward, as I am sure we all do on here, to seeing you make your wreathes, as I think that is such a lovely idea. Beautiful Lock, and I used to live in a lovely little thatched cottage here in Devon, and loved it.
