I used to use iMovie, but I got a new PC so I couldn’t use it, I downloaded daVinci resolve instead! It’s free and you can do so much, try it if you want.

I also want to add- because in other videos I’ve noticed you seemed to be thrown off by it- that ‘Top View Down’ (Key 7) has always been north-is-up, fixed; and you can’t zoom, rotate, angle up or down, etc. The only way you can is after hitting the 7 key, then hitting the Shift + C sequence for free camera, and now using the mouse, hat switch on a joy stick, you can rotate, WSAD you can move sideways up down; + & = zoom in and out. But you have to concentrate on manipulating all those camera controls, while staying right on the car, while recording. Though really not too different than any other free camera viewpoint.

Thanks! I am pretty sure in previous versions, you could rotate the top-down camera while playing. Is that a Mandela?

davidinark >>> Wow! I had to Google “Mandela”, to even see what you were talking about! I mean... it could be, as key 7 has always = “Top Down, North 12 o’clock”... as long as I can remember. But my knowledge of BeamNG only goes back as far as 2/27/2019, and that would have been v.0.15.xx. If that view could be rotated in earlier versions, I wouldn’t have known about it.

I use GeForce Experience/Shadowplay, but I have also used OBS in the past. Some folks use the Win10 xbox thing (Windows key and X I think)

Heya. You can't continue to play after the replay stops (so far as I know). The best you can do is go into World Editor and add things to the recorded scene (it's a little weird to do).

If you mean the Replay mode, then I believe you can! I do not think the game is recording the quality, just the action. So, if you later bump up the graphics settings, you'll have the same reply but it will look better! :-)

Alt-R will stop recording. You can use Alt-U to hide stuff on screen. Or you can go to UI apps and remove the app from the screen.

Interesting how you chopped up those segments. Though at one point I thought I heard you say you were going to take each recording and put them on separate tracks, and do your editing from there. Instead you placed all the recordings in a string on one track (I’m guessing because you never did stop the recording software the whole time you were selecting new angles for the playback tool); spliced them off that one track, to line up in series on the alternate track above. So in the end you actually only utilized 2 tracks total. Is this common? Or in your more advanced videos do you multitrack before you edit?

Bad edit! Ugh! I had originally intended to use multitracks but decided that was more advanced than I wanted for a beginner video.

I don't know if you could help me with a problem that I've been unable to solve for days, I would be eternally grateful if you did! I enter editor mode and press ctrl s to save the vehicles that are on the map, i even check the "can save" box, but apparently it doesn't work. Whenever I close the game and reopen the map, the vehicles are no longer there. I spent hours lining up cars in a row and changing their color to record a video, I managed to record a replay and would do others later, but simply after reopening the game, the vehicles were no longer there... There must be something I'm forgetting to do. The map where i was playing was the Johnson valley btw

Heya! It's not a video. It captures gameplay in game so you can then use recording software to capture whatever angles, views, etc you'd like. So, you have to use the same replay tool to playback the recorded gameplay, but use OBS or GeforceExperience, etc to actually record the video of the replay.

When you bring up your UI apps, on the right side in the search box, type REPLAY and see if it shows up. If it still doesn't show, I would do a file integrity check. If that doesn't fix it, I would uninstall the game and reinstall it. Hope that helps.

Yeap! I use WASD to move and hold the right mouse button while dragging the mouse. Well, that is in free cam. Certain camera views have certain things you can do.

What is the bitrate do you use ?

At the time I recorded this, it was probably 10-15. I use about 20 now. Though sometimes 30 for a short video. My ISP is way too slow for large video uploads. :-(
