I saw all of the Beany & Cecil cartoons when they first aired way back when. I loved them then and I love them now ❤! The humor was sometimes above me when I was 5, and even now when I watch a cartoon that I've probably seen twenty or more times, I pick up on a joke I've missed every previous time. I do have both of the DVDs and most of the VHS tapes, 📼 though with nothing to play them on since my last VCR crapped out a couple of years back, my default place to watch B&C is right here on KZbin. After this, I think I'll go watch the Three-Headed Threep! I haven't seen it in at least a week!

Watched this when I was 9. My 6 year old brother each had beanie copter hats my mom said "Don't jump off the furniture." We did while pulling the hat strig, the propeller would fly off the beanie cap,as we jumped off the furniture and in our minds we were flying!!!

Yes. Cecil makes for some drill sergeant and was the inspiration for R. Lee Ermey's character Sgt. Hartman in Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket."

There is more creative energy, imagination and invention in these short cartoons made on a limited budget than in most animated programs made today.
